I like how Pastor Craig is open about his own personal problems. It keeps it real. No one is perfect, and we all need to depend on God and change something about ourselves.

It makes me feel at peace to hear him admit and speak up.. I couldn't find peace even if I have been for forgiven.. I just recently found this guy and he's moving me

Over the years through many trials and hardships I have turned to many things to attempt to bring me relief. I bought into the lie that God chose not to help, hear, rescue, and heal me. I began to believe my doubts and have attempted to take care of things myself. All the while I have been in full time ministry. Don't get me wrong I love Jesus with all my heart. I just can't seem to rid myself of painful memories and past experiences. They have ruled me for far to long. I want my freedom more that I care about my reputation. I want peace over worry, food, entertainment, things, and every form of self medication. I want the joy to return. Right now I really need miracles as I enter into the second half of my life. I want to thank you for this series. Parts one and two of this series have really stirred my heart. I'm tired of the lies. I just want to be free of the bondage that was empowered by my own choices. Today, the giant is going down.

Thank you for the truth about addiction. I am a recovering addict, and this message is so true. I hid the truth, and as Joyce Meyer says, went around "praise the Lord," with a big Christian smile. The smile was not because I was in a Christian environment, but because I knew that after church, I was headed to the "dope house," to get drugs. I finally got tired of all the "crap," and surrendered it to Jesus. God took the addiction away when I first prayed. I had to let go of the taste, etc. God bless you!

The only thing I want to be addicted to is following Jesus.

I guess I should have typed this first before the list, he also preached:
Our weapons through Jesus have the Devine power to demolish strongholds, the explosive miraculous Power of God dwelling within us.

Pastor Craig, your preaching was so on point that when you were very quickly listing the weapons that we have available to us, I had to pause the video, write them down, until your were done. I came up with 9/10. I’m just going to list them for other followers for easy access:
Weapons said by Pastor Craig and the Bible:
    1) Spiritual Armor, the Helmet of Salvation
    2) The Breastplate of Righteousness
    3) The Shield of Faith
    4) The Sword of the Spirit- the Word of God
    5) The Belt of Truth
    6) The Shoes that are prepared with the Gospel
    7) The Readiness of Peace
    8) The ability to pray in the Spirit that God can hear you in a way that goes beyond your ability to understand
    9) The access to the very throne room of God
You can enter boldly before the Throne of Grace in your Time of Need

You know winding the clocks back in my life I used to have a big addiction to video games and I was trying to escape my life that was filled with abuse and self-hate. Nowadays, while I still play video games I am nowhere as obsessive as I used to be. I thank God for that because I was in an bad place in my mind. Escapism is an easy trap to fall into.

i think this a good message. but some people are hurting and need inner healing to be free, addiction is not the giant they are pacifiers, the giant is the lie we agree with or the pain people are trying to run away from. we need help to heal and cast down lies, not help to stay away from addictions. the easy part comes after healing and revealing of deception.
