YOU ARE GETTING BETTER, AND BETTER ON WHAT YOU BRING TO US OUTSIDE OF THE RUclips WORLD. I FOUND MY SELF LEAVING MY OTHER FAVORITE YOU TUBE SAX PLAYER, AND YOU KNOW THEM ALL LOL. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU, AND SHARING YOUR GIFT.
Thanks for this class Scott. I am from Central America. There are hardly any Jazz schools in Costa Rica. It is a great blessing to see this class on RUclips
Thanks Jay Cee! I try and break it down so it all makes sense and is easy to follow. If you like that style of teaching, you should check out my Sax School - I do that on every tune in the improv section, so it's really easy to understand how to get from one chord to the next. Here's the link if you want to check it out: www.scottpaddocksaxschool.com
Thank you so much Scott! I am a trumpet student and I learn so much from your improv ideas! Your improv teaching works for any instrument! Good teacher!
Man, I'm self taught and truggle with improv, counting and staying in time while playing with other instrumentalists in band. Wish I had a couse from you to help me.
Check out my Sax School! I'll help you solve those problems in the Improv Course. I've received so many emails and messages like yours over the years and every time they sign up, I get a message month or 2 later telling me how much progress they've made. The Sax School is perfect for you. Here's the link: www.scottpaddocksaxschool.com
I do not play Jazz on the saxophone. I play Blues on the harmonica. Recently, I’ve been focusing on phrasing. This video was suggested by RUclips. Great lesson. I do believe that what you teach here for Jazz on the sax can be applied to Blues on the harmonica.
Brilliant! Thanks for the lesson, Scott

Very helpful. Common words and explanations, easy to understand.
🎉 Love your work Scott!!!
Thank you Jay!
I watched this again, this time with my sax. I particularly like the way you break it up into small, manageable and understandable steps.

Yeah, absolutely! Improv is improv no matter what the instrument is.
Certainly shows the need to know one's scales.....
