    I knew videos take a lot of work, but I truly had no idea how much work. Thanks, John, for all the planning, filming, recording, editing and more to make Jenna's tutorials so smooth, seamless, and attractive. We can concentrate on Jenna's demonstration and voice without distractions! Yay. 💜🙏🏻

    This was really cool to be able to see behind the scenes. It is really great to see how much you care not only about the quality of the tutorials but also the production quality. I have a long , long way to go but I am enjoying the process also ❤️

    I had no idea videos took this much to put together. I mean, I knew it took a lot of work but wow it is a ton. Thank you for this. Very interesting. Oh! I love the music that you use also. It is beautiful and always so soothing. You are both an amazing team and it shows in every single video. I love them all.

    John, you covered (quickly and concisely) information I have been looking for all day. Im laughing you kept saying "I don't know if anyone cares' because this is seriously so helpful. Straight to the point, and with none of the "fluff"! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wish more informational YT experiences were like this.

    This was really interesting! I’ve started doing videos in iMovie using my phone. It’s definitely harder than most RUclipsrs make it look. I would say your marriage is a perfect match! He’s doing an awesome job and it’s obvious he loves you by the care and attention to detail he invests in your channel. Prayers for many more subs for y’all. I just found out about you from Paul Clark. Now I’m off to watch more of your tutorials.

    I am literally the same about folders 🗂master file separate from edited files 🗂
    And everything has to be in its folder ordered or else
    😂 not judging iMovie, but secretly judging iMovie
    Exporting requires patience and uploading videos twice sounds like a ton of patience 🙈
    Congrats on the 100k 💎🏆

    Great job on this video you two! Now that I know Jenna films 4 tutorials in a row and then lays down to rest before doing the front camera work it explains why sometimes her hair is a little messy! but i find that cute

    Love you both, that was cool but didn’t understand any of it 😵‍💫 but I am not planning on that end of it🤣
    And also is fun to see who is making it possible for Jenna to continue making tutorials. I feel so grateful to you that I can learn this way. Thanks so much from a 68 year old lady in Oregon that thinks you can teach an old dog.🤣❤️

    Flaw on the logic of double uploads is RUclips premium. I pay YT and don't see ads. It cuts you out of the money (although you still get revenue technically).

    Really awesome that you let us see behind the scenes! Thank you so much. John, I would be interested in a Patreon subscription where you went through technical things step by step. More detail with "how to's" for beginner set up to a more evolved set-up. Food for thought. Also, you need to be WAAAAY less critical of yourself. You do an AMAZING job!!

    Lighting is the reason I watched all the way through. I'm downsizing, by selling on ebay. As an ebay shopper, quality photos draw me in and I've probably paid more because the photo is better. As far as selling goes, one of my problems is photo color, but I have warm lights in my studio and think should change to white. But I also get those weird shadows that you mentioned. Thank you for the inspiration (if a guy like you can figure out, there's hope for me.) 💖🌞🌵😷

    Jenna and John, I don't know which one of you is the "Real Gem", but what both of you do to produce your channel, is absolutely, a lot of hard work, and I greatly appreciate all of, both of your hard work...you are both Gems!!! John is really upbeat and funny...Jenna more serious and quiet, though sometimes upbeat too, you both are just great!!!! Thanks for all you do behind the scenes and in front of the scenes to make it special for me, only one viewer of thousands...I love you both and watch every video you put out there. Thanks, my Gems, for being picky and precise filming and editing...and picky and precise with the painting, just unbelievable what you have to do to get this produced...Thanks!!! I appreciate you both. Chill👍🏻💕

    Thanks John! The BTS prep and the post production is a huge commitment
    The equipment is pretty awesome, your quality, background music choices and attention to detail really stands out. That’s why the channel keeps growing. That detail lense is pretty awesome. So you switch the lenses as you’re filming. Do you plan ahead for when you’ll need which lens. Or just swap them out on the fly
    Lol remember when you were randomly putting up sound proofing in the old studio, you looked so professional but you said you were just winging it. Guess you’ve come a long way over the years. Lol I’ve never noticed the squeaky sound 🐭 🤔 😂
    Ps. Myles in the background is a cutie!

    • @JennaRaineyChannel
      @JennaRaineyChannel  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for all the love, per usual! ❤️ For the lenses, each camera keeps their own lens. So the overhead has the wide angle Sigma lens, and the over the shoulder camera keeps the 50 mm close up lens. That's the convenience of having two cameras and two lenses, nice and easy! ☺️

    Awesome job, both of you! Thanks so much for making this. I love geeking out over gear. Now about that 14 TB hard drive... how often do you have to get another one of those? Do you keep all of your original source footage (and audio), even after the compiled videos are published?

    • @JennaRaineyChannel
      @JennaRaineyChannel  3 года назад +2

      Hey Trace! John here. This is my first ever 14tb hard drive (bc we just recently got the new cameras which are producing much larger file sizes). It will unfortunately fill up faster than I’d like, i expect it to be maxed out in maybe 5 months or so. I do keep all of my old files bc there are certain videos that we do that I grab footage from “the archive.” I could probably eventually free up some of the oldest and more outdated ones, but those hard drives are only 1 or 2 tb, so that wouldn’t do me much good…

    • @TraceMeek
      @TraceMeek 3 года назад

      Thanks so much for your reply! I guess massive storage drives just become another business expense when you up your video game, as you have done. It is totally worth it-your high production values really make a difference, and make your videos really stand out. (And of course, so does Jenna’s talent and performances.) Keep up the great work!

    Hi Jenna and John! Thanks for being so generous in sharing your set up. I'm new to RUclips but have taught Zoom classes for years. I'm on a learning curve to say the least and one issue I'm having is in the editing process. I don't edit my zoom classes... just set up and go live while taping. But now I'm trying to figure out how to fast forward a full length class to share on RUclips. Help??
