The thing I loved about this show was that I would root for Ragnar's merry band of friends when they were in Norway, then switch around and root for the English when they sailed to England and France and started acting like Vikings.
Each one has, from Ragnar Ubba the face and actions, Ivar the strength, intelligence, and compassion that frightens the enemy, and Pierre One is a warrior like him and a leader.
What I found to be awesome is even though Bjourn wasn't biologically Ragnars he still treated him as his first born son. What a warrior Bjorn was too!!! Vikings had an amazing cast of actors/actresses. The rawness and brutality of this show is unmatched.
Apparently it’s a slow death, idk how that works since they crush the spine and pull the rib cage and lungs but apparently you feel the whole ouchies slowly till death.
