Fantastic guys! Great to see a video where someone is just using the bike and not reviewing or click-baiting it!
    Maybe your next bike?

It’s certainly a contender but Shadow is safe for now 😉

I have just attended the UK bmw off road training course level 1 for 2 days. What an amazing weekend. They also did a pillion off road course for riders to learn how to ride off road with pillion. There where 2 couples on the course and they rode past us on occasion both stood up on pegs around the course. I thought maybe you would have tried that.
    Good video guys.

That’s great that they had a pillion course, that’s not something that was being offered in Germany but sounds like a great idea! -might have to try the UK training sometime 👍🏻
Thanks, it was tricky getting the footage as it was raining so much 🤣

Hi Ruud! Yeah it really was great! As they instructor said -they have designed the park so it's more extreme than anything you will likely meet on the trips so you have confidence. It really was a confidence boost, knowing what teh machine can do if you trust it and also trying it with the right tires was fantastic! Also great having professionals to tell you what you are doing wrong and how to correct it -the skills learnt in the first hour alone will be helpful forever!
Thanks for watching and cheers for commenting as usual 😎

Hi Garth, yeah totally get that. It's like they have made a great bike to replace an already great bike =) And as you say one needs to keep them for them to be cost effective (as with any vehicle really) especially if you've added bits to them.
Cheers! it's amazing the things you can learn at this place in just a couple of days and the potential of these bikes is amazing. Also nice not worrying about damaging your own bike!
Em did great! So supportive and the photos she got are fantastic 😎

Hi, i can't explain how good this training was!!! It really was fantastic to learn in this environment with professionals teaching us all day for two days! The park is very well designed that it covers everything and in stepped difficulties. It's also great how it's accessible to people of all levels.
Personally I don't think it's pricey. For 2 full days training, including use of teh R1300 GS (with nothing to pay if you damage it -unless you are deemed reckless) is 710 Euro which is basically the same as breaking the screen and mirror on your own bike lol.
It's cheaper if you use your own bike or a smaller bike like the F900 or the G310.

@@SeanandEmily Awesome 🤩 Thanks! I have a F850 GSA, so it probably would be proper to learn on a similar bike. ( I would probably want a 1300 after I tried one, so I won’t try one.. can’t afford a 1300 😂 ) Thanks again! All instructions in German? Kein problem, Ich verstehe Deutsch aber spreche sehr schlecht 😂

Thanks very much! I arrived at the park with very little experience, but the teaching from the instructors was really good that in no time I was doing things that I didn't think would be possible so quickly. Seeing those steep inclines with rocks over them was intimidating for sure - I found the best thing was not to think too much and go for it lol. Such an enjoyable weekend and i left smiling and very impressed with the bike. Thanks for watching!
