I consider DreamXD as the God of Time, Control and Creation. The fact that he is weakening may be because of what some people have theorized, that being that he is powered by people losing their canon lives and basically death in general. Maybe there hasn’t been enough massacre on the server, on top of that he has also probably given a lot of power to Foolish by making him temporarily immortal and he misused and abused that ability. That probably weakened DreamXD and now he needs it back.
I don’t know if he’s conflicted with the God (or goddess) of Death, that being Kristin/Mumza. I’m not sure if their lore is connected or if something different is going on. If Mumza isn’t connected to this, we’ll then it truly is a problem with DreamXD and him only. If Mumza is considered the goddess of death in this lore than maybe something happened between them or there’s a problem with limbo (since many people have assumed she rules over limbo). I’m not sure, I don’t want to dig in too deep.
Many theory speculated about people like XD or Jack becoming the God Of Death
But i think, death is not as simple as we think. Mumza is Death itself, but she CAN'T controlled death, she isn't the one choosing it, she was like a watcher. Everytime someone dies, she will know, because she watched the Limbo, she doesn't have any power to decide WHEN will people die. Let's just say she only take care of the afterlife.
About what ‘death’ is, i'm pretty sure everytime it happened ‘cause a huge power for Immortal being like XD, or even the Egg. There is no creation for lives, i'm also sure XD, Foolish, and few other “ancient” God is actually not a true god at all, YES they inherit the power, but they... Weren't really all powerfull and all, even God has their limit. They're like... A being that suddenly exist, with limited power, and in order to survive, they have to farm those power, by which causing death to the mortal realms. Like i said, life can't be made, every soul that go to the limbo are either dissapear or reincarnated, that means they used the same soul over and over again. And with the invented of Revival Book in which they can bring back the dead and killing them again, it's getting out of hand. Because no matter what, these creature only wants Death (also, mortal can also become God, when they've killed thousand of people. People like Dream, Philza, and Techno, CAN become God.)
I'm still trying to catch up on the Dream SMP, and I'm at the very beginning; however, your animations make me want to keep going. They are so clean, and well made, they make me excited to finally catch up!

It is so wild to me that DreamXD is getting weaker. He's literally the God of the world, and he's losing his strength. That begs the question: what the HELL is going on?!
Their is another god being made and by tue logic of God's their can only be one god at any given time. Well that my theory any way

My headcannon is that he's referring to Momza, who's the god of death (in philza's streams, anyway)
Let me just put it this way if Kristen could control when people die there could be a chance that Dream XD feeds off the deaths and births/rebirths. I mean it makes no sense for Mumza’s power source to be what she controls so someone else would have that source of power.
Also remember everyone’s lore will end up tying together meaning if mumza exists in Phil’s streams she exists in lore itself.

Now all I can imagine is Foolish pulling a Kratos scene after this with him digging up an old trident or something buried under the very heart of his temple and then an illusion of, maybe Dream or someone like Quackity is there. Like no one else is around until he picks up the weapon and then they're suddenly there near the opening reminding Foolish he could pretend to be a husband, a father and a teacher but he can't run away from what he really is.
I love how it changed from green to blue after Dream xD left, also pretty sure Foolish gonna have another canon life go bye bye

I think this scene is really important, because it sets up things that will probably be more important as time go on.
Okay so there is quite a few things I want to say first of all I like how at the start the lighting is blue but when XD appears it turns green as if he is infecting the whole world just by appearing and then having it turn back to blue to symbolize how now the world is back to normal is great. I also love XD's design and I like how it is a very simplified version of his normal design to show that now that he is getting "weaker" he doesn't even have the strength to fully materialise. I also do appreciate that you put subtitles for what XD is saying in the bottom.
