I love how the theme is 'the fans' and VIXX brought along their fans that has little stars on them to dance with and even named the performance 'The Wind of Starlight' T.T We don't deserve VIXX
I'm not saying other artists can't compete no matter what, but honestly speaking, i really doubt that there's a large amount of idols that can do a cover of vixx songs with the same amount of presence on stage and charisma. Maybe the same type, but even same amount, it would be hard. I don't see a lot of groups being able to cover shangri la...it's just something I've observed. It's like how i'm never satisfied by the mirotic covers done by other groups. No one can reproduce the same feeling they gave off. That's why dbsk and vixx give me the same chills. Strangely enough, vixx did a cover of hug by dbsk before...rather than hearing vocals that were very different from dbsk's voices, they actually sounded like them. I'm looking for that type of skill and technique nowadays in kpop which is rare. But then again, the original is always truly the best

Tbh, I tried to dip into other boy groups at first like BTS, however I never really got into them, as TVXQ already molded my beliefs and stanning. However when I found VIXX due to Chained up and started tip toeing through their music, I found that I really like them as they how are very similar to TVXQ. I loved how they try to sing as much live as they can, cause you really can notice it, as Leo tend not to open his mouth wider than he does when he's singing, unless the camera's on him, and neither does Hongbin. Anyway, as I was saying they have the same aura, same feeling that TVXQ has. I wish one day, they will meet them. On another note, that TVXQ cover they did made me cry so much, that I watched it once, and never again.

My three top male groups are vixx, bts, and tvxq. They are good in their own way, but vixx certainly has that aura from the older generation that is surprising to me still.

XD Aside from TVXQ, I'm more of a second generation fan myself (SuJu SNSD, 2AM,2PM, Ukiss, FT Island, f(x), Miss A, Sistar), but I left around start of 2012, and just heard famous names in KPOP like EXo and BTS during that time. I haven't even heard about VIXX when I went back at the end of 2016! I remember bawling like a child when VIXX covered TVXQ's Hug. It was so emotional for me, 'cause that's the first time I got a feel from someone covering songs that was special to me (D.GNA's cover of Love In The Ice was good, however, I wasn't feeling it) And I'm not really into Electropop which what BTS' half of famous songs are so I can't get into them either (I have a crush on Min Yoongi though XD boy is hot af XD). It just that the feels that TVXQ gave me is what VIXX is giving me right now. And the fact, that they are all visuals like TVXQ never hurt XD

Usually, when groups do these kind of "contemporary-ish" dances, the one that has training on that kind of dance looks very good and the rest look kinda floppy. However, in VIXX they all look so gracious and elegant. Of course Hakyeon has the best lines, but they all look amazing and breathtaking. Also, props to their stylist team. The hairstyles, wardrobe and makeup is so on point.
Jun Ai Cha Hakyeon was very exacting with his members for his choreography. It turned out so fierce and elegant. So proud of their hard work. You have a good eye.⭐️💖⭐️

I’m not being a biased here, I watched most of perf here in MBC Gayo Daejun and I could say that VIXX is the only kpop group whose concept is different from the others. The stage and its effects, their costume and even their looks. I think this was their bestest Shangri-La performance because all of their perfs are the best. I know I commented a lot, but I'm still honestly surprised VIXX isn't known for their dances more often. Their dance performances always are so nice, sharp, and smooth, with a story behind each. Their choreographies isn't just to look cool, but also ties back to their concepts. If this is your first time watching VIXX, do check out more of their dance breaks, they're phenomenal
True. Most of their dances incorporate subtle moves about the concept. They put a lot of thought behind their depiction of music videos and their dance routines. And people don't realise that because it's so subtly put but all the more intriguing and artistic.

I'm not saying other artists can't compete no matter what, but honestly speaking, i really doubt that there's a large amount of idols that can do a cover of vixx songs with the same amount of presence on stage and charisma. Maybe the same type, but even same amount, it would be hard. I don't see a lot of groups being able to cover shangri la...it's just something I've observed. It's like how i'm never satisfied by the mirotic covers done by other groups. No one can reproduce the same feeling they gave off. That's why dbsk and vixx give me the same chills. Strangely enough, vixx did a cover of hug by dbsk before...rather than hearing vocals that were very different from dbsk's voices, they actually sounded like them. I'm looking for that type of skill and technique nowadays in kpop which is rare. But then again, the original is always truly the best

Tbh, I tried to dip into other boy groups at first like BTS, however I never really got into them, as TVXQ already molded my beliefs and stanning. However when I found VIXX due to Chained up and started tip toeing through their music, I found that I really like them as they how are very similar to TVXQ. I loved how they try to sing as much live as they can, cause you really can notice it, as Leo tend not to open his mouth wider than he does when he's singing, unless the camera's on him, and neither does Hongbin. Anyway, as I was saying they have the same aura, same feeling that TVXQ has. I wish one day, they will meet them. On another note, that TVXQ cover they did made me cry so much, that I watched it once, and never again.

Anywayssssss. I actually got into vixx during chained up era too because of sassy go go. I'm rather multifandom and maybe because i'm still a part of the younger generation (i'm 18) but i joined the kpop fandom in 2010, i can enjoy groups that come from a very big range, sometimes from 2 ends of a spectrum, like vixx, tvxq, cnblue, snsd, bts, suju, apink, gugudan, twice, blackpink, girl's day, sistar, f(x), etc. and a lot soloists. My three top male groups are vixx, bts, and tvxq. They are good in their own way, but vixx certainly has that aura from the older generation that is surprising to me still.
Yes, I am! Wah, you're so young! I joined the fandom around 2004 and I'm 25 now. XD Aside from TVXQ, I'm more of a second generation fan myself (SuJu SNSD, 2AM,2PM, Ukiss, FT Island, f(x), Miss A, Sistar), but I left around start of 2012, and just heard famous names in KPOP like EXo and BTS during that time. I haven't even heard about VIXX when I went back at the end of 2016! I remember bawling like a child when VIXX covered TVXQ's Hug. It was so emotional for me, 'cause that's the first time I got a feel from someone covering songs that was special to me (D.GNA's cover of Love In The Ice was good, however, I wasn't feeling it) And I'm not really into Electropop which what BTS' half of famous songs are so I can't get into them either (I have a crush on Min Yoongi though XD boy is hot af XD). It just that the feels that TVXQ gave me is what VIXX is giving me right now. And the fact, that they are all visuals like TVXQ never hurt XD

Usually, when groups do these kind of "contemporary-ish" dances, the one that has training on that kind of dance looks very good and the rest look kinda floppy. However, in VIXX they all look so gracious and elegant. Of course Hakyeon has the best lines, but they all look amazing and breathtaking.
Also, props to their stylist team. The hairstyles, wardrobe and makeup is so on point.
Jun Ai Cha Hakyeon was very exacting with his members for his choreography. It turned out so fierce and elegant. So proud of their hard work. You have a good eye.⭐️💖⭐️

I’m not being a biased here, I watched most of perf here in MBC Gayo Daejun and I could say that VIXX is the only kpop group whose concept is different from the others. The stage and its effects, their costume and even their looks. I think this was their bestest Shangri-La performance because all of their perfs are the best. Their choreographies isn't just to look cool, but also ties back to their concepts. If this is your first time watching VIXX, do check out more of their dance breaks, they're phenomenal

이건 진짜... 컨셉도 피지컬도 소화력도 엄청나고 높은 완성도에 감탄이 나옴. 한복이 바람옷이라던데 펄럭이는 옷깃 바람같고 시원하게 펴지는 부채살소리 깔끔하고. 한국적인 컨셉을 우아하고 절도있게 표현한 수준 높은 공연인 듯. 다들 '꽃도령'이란 말이 딱 어울림.
