If I am understanding you, I feel like I am in alignment with the cycles and for that I am so grateful. I have been consciously working on my old patterns of people pleasing, I have caught myself shapeshifting to mirror their mood or energy to maintain harmony and avoid conflict.Anger has arisen at times due to my expectations that they can't meet me where I am at. So wise Sara! My lesson was to realize a huge blind spot where my desire to be “helpful” was really about control-such Libra SN. Hit my like BAM! As I was creating the issue that would teach me this lesson I felt the gentle inner voice nudging me to question the impulsive (NN Aries) communication and I hit send anyway. I honestly don’t think I could have realized this pattern without the anger that ensued-something my Libra Sun found terrifying. I certainly hadn’t learned when it had happened in the past. At any rate, this was a very productive cycle for me to move through and more truly into my independence vs the deeply entrenched codependent values of my 2nd house Libra.

I was just reflecting today that's it's been about a year since I launched my business and it has been a huge shift from feeling stifled as a corporate employee to feeling free as a bird as a self-employed entrepreneur. Ughhh this is hitting my 7th and 8th house. My south node in Virgo, my sun and my moon in Leo and my mercury in Virgo are all in my 7th where this eclipse is happening. Huge lessons around people pleasing and changing myself for others and along with intimacy issues and being my true self…so many assholes and short lived relationships… I am so fucking done. My natal mars in Aries and north node in Pisces in my first house are saying ENOUGH. No more changing for the other, no more compromises. I’ve now fallen ill, lost my job and have found myself on the island with nothing left to give another. Venus is also opposing my natal Pluto in my 8th and I have so many other aspects taking place… So many endings yet I trust this is also my painful new beginning. 😅 My astrologer has also disappeared off the face of the planet and I would love to get a reading and some support with you Sarah!!

The description of Libra especially - using others to fulfill one’s own needs, resulting in manipulation or indecision, placing the center of equilibrium outside one’s self - are all themes I’ve been grappling with since the nodes shifted to Aries-Libra and are coming to a culmination point with this eclipse. The reality is: we have eclipses 4 times a year... and they are simply change points on the continuing cycle of our own evolutionary spiral. They do not operate on their own... they are part of something larger. So working with them is larger than simply the moment of exactitude. To understand eclipses, we have to understand the whole nodal axis... it's cycle, it's duration, and what's its trying to teach us. Call me a keener, but I've always liked school... and 'earth school' is no exception. When we listen to what the universe is saying to us, we can choose to evolve. And even better?
