I don’t think, she is forced to sing like that. The problem when you use a technique to stylize your voice is that you cannot sing with all your vocal abilities. Blackpink's Rosé had the same problem early in her career. It sounded very nasal. It's even weird compared to the other members, Sm never made him sing in full voice. Most agencies always want a cute member in the group. So they make Winter sing with a high voice and always in a cute voice. We can see it with other groups like I. N from stray kids. There's too much nasality when he sings for it to be natural. It's a shame because he too is always sung in the same way. We find this case in many groups. There are members who will be able to show their versatility and others cannot because the concept of cute is imposed on them.
