Blackpink's Rosé had the same problem early in her career. It sounded very nasal. It's even weird compared to the other members, Sm never made him sing in full voice. Most agencies always want a cute member in the group. So they make Winter sing with a high voice and always in a cute voice. We can see it with other groups like I. N from stray kids.
