Spritz the top of your paper each time you add more mod podge and spritz that section before you put it down. That REALLY helps it mold to your surface and relieve wrinkles and bubbles. We both did crackle under the paper! I did a black halo like Royce does as well. So glad you found a use for the paper! Beautiful, beautiful job ❤❤❤
Loved all these projects as usual I've painted jars before but now I'm going to grubby mix some as they looked so good I like the chicken too and looks like you're really enjoying your new toy ! 😊❤❤❤
Good to see you I found some discounted paintvat TSC and it's the Diamond Brand you mentioned. It's black and has the greatest finish. Love the rooster. You've got a great knack at repurposing.
Would the Rust-Oleum 2X Clear Coat work on the grubby jars so you didn't have to tap the mod podge on and risk knocking the spices off? Would it maybe seal it in to be water proof?
Would you be looking for the raw cutout, painted and distressed cutout, or the finished fall decor on the stand with flowers? I can do any of those. I have two of the finished ones done that I could post.
I use ground nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and 2 4oz jars of instant coffee from dollar tree or where ever you like to buy it. Here is a video I made last year to show what I use and how I do it. -ruclips.net/video/nyN9zvyH05k/видео.html
First time viewer here, i like your no nonsense start to finish and the final products too. However your personality sets you apart from others Ive tried to watch and moved on❤
I sold some in my Etsy shop last year that were candles, too. They were in the larger baby food jars for $6.50. I sold just the grubby jars empty for $3.50, I believe. I had a large amount of the jars donated to me. I hope that answers your question. 😀

I love them all. I also have a bandsaw, and I don’t know how to use it. I would love for you to do a tutorial that would be amazing!

That’s great! I have to try some other colors.
Hi Shelly! I love the rooster, great job! The grubby jars are so darn cute too, those pull bows are such a great item!
Thanks so much Connie!

I don't know about waterproof, but it does help seal to keep the spices on it. I used it on one of my grubby pumpkin to show the difference.
Are you going to be selling the chicken cutouts on your Etsy shop?
Would you be looking for the raw cutout, painted and distressed cutout, or the finished fall decor on the stand with flowers? I can do any of those. I have two of the finished ones done that I could post.
What is in your grubby mix ?
I use ground nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and 2 4oz jars of instant coffee from dollar tree or where ever you like to buy it. Here is a video I made last year to show what I use and how I do it. -ruclips.net/video/nyN9zvyH05k/видео.html

Oh thank you! I appreciate you saying that. 😊
How much do you sell those little grubby jars for?
I sold some in my Etsy shop last year that were candles, too. They were in the larger baby food jars for $6.50. I sold just the grubby jars empty for $3.50, I believe. I had a large amount of the jars donated to me. I hope that answers your question. 😀
