The second singer is Gorran Kendall and he also has some great solo stuff, as does Romaine Axisa, the guitarist in the hat.
I find Gorran's voice in this one session absolutely stunning! He was on point that day.
As someone else said they’re ALL extremely talented. Their original songs are great! We all love Ren and his genius, but I get a lot of joy watching Romain play guitar. You never ever see him playing without a huge smile.
Busking is part of everyday life in Britain, watching reaction videos and realising that not every body has that privilege, has made me appreciate them even more! But these guys are the best I've seen.
This is live on the streets of Brighton on the south coast of the UK. The big push last played together in December as Ren is in Calgary Canada receiving treatment.
Playing on the streets in the UK is Busking.
Busking in the streets is huge in the UK! The quality of art and expression, free to the public!
The big push does have their own songs and album, but with Ren being in Canada and their each having their own careers, they are not working as a group currently. Romain Axisa and Gorran Kendall, the other two guitarists have their own solo work which is very good.
Don’t forget to give some love to the drummer
Thanks, great performance...
The Big Push disbanded at the end of 2020. Not over bad vibes but because REN was going to Canada for treatment. The other members Romain, Gorran and Glenn are off doing their own thing. As for REN….it’s his time and he isn’t wasting any time. He’s releasing a new track June 8th (this Thursday) from his upcoming album titled Sick Boi. The track is called Sui cide it’s dedicated to his friend Joe Hughes who took his life by jumping off a bridge. His body was never recovered. REN is going back to England next week to shoot the video for Money Game 3 which is also a track from Sick Boi which has a total of 17 tracks. REN is already working on his next album that will be more musical with him singing more as opposed to rapping. I’m really excited for this cause REN has a very beautiful voice with a wide range. He sings with his body and soul. His voice is like an instrument that he has mastered. You just heard him sing Wade in the Water. Well I have a little treat for you, this link is to him performing the same song solo in Berlin, Germany 4 years ago

The Big Push does have an album called Can Do Will Do. Check out Precious, Oh My Woman and English Man in New York🙏🏽
2022 not 2020
@@rogerstarkey5390You are right, I knew that it’s a typo. Thanks so much Roger!
What an amazing performance!
The Big Push - everything they do is fire! More please.
This is such an amazing cover. Gosh I love these guys, plus your reactions just put it over the top. Thanks for spreading positivity. We need more of that in the world!
Four amazing talents in one band, just incredible ! I live 18 miles down the road from where that are playing in Brighton UK, in Eastbourne we have buskers all the time, sadly nothing at this level. Great choice and reaction.
Shout out to the Drummer ( Glen ) holding it down for the boys . Hey Johnnie, you know Ren learned how to play from you tube videos . Can't wait to hear you play !
They dive in history of music
Great reaction. Bet you didn't expect Ren to take you to church. The Big Push released an EP Can Do Will Do. Not sure if there was more than that one, lots of individual songs have been put out tho. All three guitarists in the band are singer/songwriters, not just Ren. Gorran Kendall was the 2nd singer and Romain Axisa is on lead guitar in this vid. They have split up for the time being; as each of them have things going on; Ren in Canada for medical treatment, Glenn the drummer moved to Thailand and got married, Gorran is traveling and Romain is working on his own stuff too.
This is one of my favorites! Any track you choose will be great.
hi! I live in Halifax, Canada and we used to have a worldwide busking tour come here every year with performers from all around the world doing every cool type of act....shutdown during the pandemic though.
I still cannot believe how fantastic this is. Is it even real? My gosh they are utterly brilliant.
Such passion for their craft, I love The Big Push, Ren and Johnnie's reactions
You can see people busking in the UK all over the place. I'm from a place called Reading and the high street regularly has performers. Love this performance, they're all letting their souls show.
Keep smiling dude, your positivity is so infectious.
Loads of live music (busking) in Scotland 💙
Let's get the Big Push over here...on this side of the pond baby 🔥🙏🔥
The Big Push does have an album. They are no longer together they parted ways when Ren left to go do his medical stuff in Canada. Romain has current music coming out ( the guitarist in this). Precious by them is beautiful but again... everything is good
The Big Push released a 2nd album in 2023 called "Busking Sessions". It has 20 of their live busking performances.
This is my fav Big Push mashup!
Always enjoy your reactions Johnny👍
Busking (performance out in public, usually with a collection plate/hat/guitar case out front) is quite common on this side of the Atlantic. If I went downtown (geneva, switzerland) today, I'm sure I'd come across at least four or five performers, ranging from concert harpists (one guy played clear through the winter and I can't imagine his poor frozen fingers!) to 'bucket drummers' playing on buckets/pots/pans/the sidewalk, to those blanket-covered and hunched people with a simple clapper wooden puppet-head poking out (that's really weird and I just can't get into it)
Yes, people do still Busk in the UK.
They are all great . Englishman in New York and sweet little lady acoustic are a couple of tunes I would do next . They are both songs that make you 😃
@BrightonBeachBuskingBBB is a RUclips channel devoted to busking in Brighton. Lots of videos of Brighton buskers, and interviews. Nice interview with Gorran Kendall, where he talks about many things including The Big Push. Gorran has spent a lot of time busking around the world. The Big Push still has an active channel, but are on indefinite hiatus due to Ren's health, and other life changes.
Buskers are EVERYWHERE in the US. i promise.
❤
G'day everyone here, peace and love to all of you❤
Fire performance and reaction! They get into it so much that I got chills. One of my favorites by them is What Kind of Woman Is This?, a cover of the Buddy Guy song, with Jimi Hendrix and Muddy Waters added to the mix. Some more great singing and bass playing from Ren in that one, too, along with excellent guitar from Romain.
what a performance !
Thanks for your positive input !
Man, I've said this before on one of your reactions, but i love the attitude and the positivity. We all need it and we all need more of it. Subscribed. Thank you
❤❤❤❤❤
The big push are amazing check out
Have we done the bongo bong cover here yet?
❤❤❤great reaction ❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for your great reaction!
The Big Push - I Shot The Sheriff / Road To Zion / Hip Hop
Yes. In fact Chinchilla told Chris Liepe she had never busked until Ren had her busk with him. Now she quite enjoys it.
Gorran sings Feeling Good
Romain guitar solo
Glen drums
Watch them do What Kind of Woman Is This, so good 😁
They do this in Vegas and New Orleans other than that I don't know if you can find it to many places
❤🔥🍻
Ren rocking it on bass this time! :)
What's next? Can't go wrong with Ren or Big Push, lol! Englishman in NY and Bongo Bong are fire though!
Bongo Bong or I Shot The sheriff/ Road to Zion/hip Hop
Johnnie, I really think you would enjoy and appreciate Ren’s Do you Believe which samples a folk singer from the 60’s and 70’s Melanie and she was one of only 3 female solo artists to perform at Woodstock! Not very many reactors have done it. I recommend reacting to REN’s version then check out on your own her original done live on tv in 1972 - her voice is simply incredible.
#Johnnie, I play guitar badly, and reason why, is, not enough practice, it really is a case of 'you get out what you put in'
Work in Kc every day. Lol downtown getting back to normal after the draft. Ren is a crazy crazy talent. His band mates are awesome.
There's always buskers wherever you go in uk
I'm not talented at anything except keeping on, i.e. standing up when get knocked down, i'm good at that lol
So good! Check out
English man in New York
I shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip hop
War Pigs
Paint it Black
They’re incredible 🖤
The big push split up but not for any bad reason just life things they all still keep in touch though
Busking is normal n uk
Sam Tompkins came back last month for a busking session. ruclips.net/video/p4Oi6-yuLMg/видео.html This page is dedicated to capturing all the buskers around Brighton and sharing them on here. Will give you some idea of what it's like.
