Say what you want about Stephanie's creative ideas, but she's extremely good at her role behind-the-scenes. She was ranked #2 most influential CMO's by Forbes. Brandi has a goofy reality show and got her job because she's married to Cody. Vince made Stephanie and Shane work twice as hard to get everything they've had in WWE because he didn't want them to coast by and make him look bad. Dusty is raising a ruckus in heaven right now.
Dusty wants to come back down and slap sense into him.
"When ya son's talkin' shit in publick, dat's hard times daddeh!"
Same one that'd shake his belly, do a woman impersonation after the low blow, act like a clown most times? That Dusty? I thought Cody was way better at being normal, all things considered.
Once Cody walked to a smiling Darby in the back and says to the camera “tonight is the night that Darby loses the title” I knew I needed this video
He’s an idiot and they call themselves pro wrestling. Pro wrestlers don’t expose the business for being fake.
CallMe-Shoe, exactly, it's like if some actor winked at the camera and said he's reading a script, good wrestling is determined by if you can keep the secret good enough
Cody is FINALLY living up to his moniker of "The American Nightmare." Looking forward to this playing out on AEW TV.
If Brandi wins the Women's Title, fans will legitimately riot.
If she does... it'll be long....long after Cody turns Heal. The Crowd will still be Irritated though, but at least the crowd being pissed wouldn't look as bad.
maybe she will win the new TBS title. I would laugh my ass off if AEW trolls the fans like that.
17:11 - 17:39 “Fuck it”
Jim nearly took me out of this life with that. That was some genuine rage.
You can rematch the first episode of Dynamite and see all the guys who are still around evolved and changed themselves as time went on. Meanwhile Cody is still LARPing as a territory era white meat babyface and everyone's sick of it.

I Caught a Commercial (of the "RhodesShow"), then Had to Listen to This Video Immidiately! 🤣
I expected some comments on this and not a full review, this is amazing

Jim's disappointed sigh punctuated by Brian's chair squeaking in agreement is somehow one of the funniest things I've heard all day
The duck quack got me. I’m replaying it 🤣
I've listened to this video at least 10x already. It's too good.
I loved when Brain lost it when Jim talks about Brandy's wine.
The collective egos of Cody and Brandi is transcendental.
they were made for each other
Cody is an above average wrestler and an above average promo but still has major go away heat with me.
To be honest, I dont think Cody wants to be a full time wrestler anymore.
Everyone should have realized that when he was sucking Amell’s toes to get on “Arrow”.
@@joshuaDstarks how did he suck up to Stephen amell
@@joshuaDstarks he could probably get good heel heat at the moment too but that would work against his other commitments.
A red flag for me was when he and brandi started doing acting classes and then she tried to act on AEW with the Nightmare Collective vignettes. They were truly awful.

Not after Punk & Danielson were signed.
I just imagined Jim Cornette teaching how to do promos to the aew roster and it seeming a lot like the drum teacher in whiplash.

@angryman0 what's great is the fact that 'mark' is a term for a wrestling fan so this could have a whole new meaning.
"Opponents should not hate each other to have better matches"
BRET HART AND SHAWN MICHAELS HAVE ENTERED THE CHAT
@angryman0 Wait they actually hated eachother IRL? They're friends now so I didn't know they hated eachother when they were in their prime. Their feud was great though. Malenko ripping off the Ciclope mask at Slamboree is still one of my favorite moments of wrestling of all time. Malenko and Jericho put on some of the best matches and it's sad how Jericho has become. I wonder how Dean feels about what Jericho has become. Malenko is very serious about wrestling and in interviews he's kind of taken a dig at AEW's style of flippy shit in a very subtle way in interviews I've seen. I wonder if he hates AEW and is just working as a trainer since he needs the money so he can take care of his parkinsons. I wonder if he hates how Jericho's body and matches have regressed.
And look where Cody is now
This is hilarious. Corny should review more of this show.
No then people wanna watch lol
24:18 thank you, Brian. That’s all I was thinking when she sat them down to talk. I was hysterical laughing….what a slap in the face. She is so under qualified, you have to wonder if anyone there thinks it’s a joke.
It was like Brooke Hogan being in charge of the TNA Knockouts division, but in real life.
@@quentinkaasa47 hahahaha
the artwork is off the charts love it
Maybe add a tear, to emphasize Corny's adoration of Cody, chefs kiss.
Someone needs to create second channel for Jim where he would do commentary play by play on that show
Does he still do content for Patron? or did it fizzle out? like his watch-along of matches? this would get more people to sign up
Is it fair to say that Cody's tattoo looks better here in art form than on his neck irl?
The placement is better too 🤣
I was thinking the same thing:)
What they all can’t get thru their heads is that people want to watch wrestling (or anything for that matter) if it’s being taken seriously. Why would I want to watch anything if it’s not taking itself seriously and actively disrespecting me for wanting it to be taken seriously?
This may go a long way to explain the movement of AEW away from the EVPs having influence over the product. All that's needed now is for Omega to drop the belt to make the move complete.
This is the one. Cody cannot ignore Jim anymore.
They think they're helping wrestling but their not. But somebody needs to tell them.
@@TheRod187 You'd think the like of Arn and DDP must have talked to Cody about this eh? I like to think they did but Cody is stubborn about what he wants to do.
I don't think Cody gives two shits about Jim. Why would he? It's not like Jim and Dusty were close friends while he was growing up
@@michaelhauser6440 they may not have been close friends but they were still friends and there was a lot of respect between the two.
Somehow they always get wind of Jim comments. Either a fan is going to ask him or another wrestler. Human insecurities will start to play, especially if Brandi finds out. Everytime she comes out I feel she hears everything, smh
Brandi is the Chief Brandi Officer - all about Brandi.
The Meghan & Harry Markle of wrestling. The guy has more status and reputation before he meets his wife and in the course of a marriage their whole status is unravelled before everyone's eyes.
narcissistic women destroy everything, both megham and brandi have destroyed their husbands reputation, things are only going to get worse
Great comparison. Meghan really is horribke
Harry Markle😂😂🤣🤣😂 well played,sir 👍
Omg I like Brandi but this is harsh. I feel for any woman compared to the harpy of Megan M.
The worst thing is Cody & Brandi really believe they are mainstream stars … I’m from Ireland and if 1/10 people knew who they are I’d be probably die from shock ..
If it wasn’t for Tony Khan they wouldn’t be getting any of this ..but they think they deserve it ..
Cody has always had a swagger about him because of who his father was and believes he knows the business like nobody else because of it and if we’re being honest Cody is pretty average at the end of the day ..
Well i am from Romania and no wrestling show is running her on tv anymore, but Total Bellas was.
The target audience is different really, i do not think many people would watch both.
Brandi is so delusional 😅 no one wants her to come back to wrestle.
Yes!!! I've been waiting for Jim's heel turn on Cody for two years now
2 years later and Cody is the wwe champion now but I say this this reality TV show was definitely the worst of Cody Rhodes and his Brandi.
"I still can't believe they showed Cody talking to Darby about losing his title tonight WTF?"
They showed McMahon talking to Bret Hart about exactly how he'd lose his belt in a documentary. Bret was mad that it was done differently than discussed. It's not new at all. Jim was the one with the idea of how to do it too. You can hear him talk about it. Now he's criticizing others... I think it's OK if it's not shown in the actual shows with matches. People freak out over a reality show for nothing IMO.
Bret secretly recorded that. Not the same.
@@dodesskiy1 that wasn't meant to be shown However. That's because Bret knew vince might screw him over.

Jim cornette, I want to say this. You are one of the smartest, most grounded realist I've ever listened to. Maybe a little old school but not wrong. There's a man out there who inherited a lot of his father's money who started a wrestling promotion who hangs on your every word. Don't take that responsibility lightly even if you didn't ask for it.

Jim's utter exasperation with that "What?!" at 6:27 is amazingly funny.
13:38 That sentence is going to haunt my dreams. I swear if they do put the title on Brandi, then I will lose my faith in this company.

This is the greatest Corny clip of all time. I'm cracking up laughing throughout
The artwork makes it even better.
38?!
She looks damn fine for 20 so, she is doing well.
2:05 YEP, this is exactly what happens when folks get behind and support people just because they go against the system or folks they don't like (ie WWE, Vince). You give people a sense of importance and entitlement they don't really have or deserve. You often find out that they just as worse if not way worse, then the ones you hate.
"If you don't wanna watch this show to make fun of the people involved, is there any other reason why a grown adult with cognitive functioning and all of their senses unimpaired would ever watch this television program"?
Well that says it all.
Brandi Rhodes knows the reason Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels had such great matches together is they were the best of friends.
Hearing jim describe how they openly discuss the angles and "stories" reminds me of the awful Wcw stuff where they discussed who's going over and not following the script.
Wait they discussed this during the show?!?! Was this in the last days of nitro with David arquette and so on?
@@HkFinn83 Yeah, when Russo was booking. His mantra was basically "Everything is a work except for what you're seeing RIGHT NOW".

the reality shows are to attract the female viewers to AEW like WWE had Total Divas has, I'm not saying it will work or not work but that's what they want it to be a machine for
Were they featuring more female stars?
@@aakashkatiyar5005 Total divas had naomi, summer rae, eva maries, jojo, natalie, the bellas, alicia fox, paige, maryse, etc over various seasons. I laughed so hard at the panic attack segment!!! Lol Jim is a legend!
After seeing this garbage, I have come to the conclusion that Cody is nothing more than the Miz with a family pedigree in wrestling.
I guess Jim never saw “Magic's Biggest Secrets Finally Revealed” back in the late 90s.
Solid gold, the masked magician was a cool dude.
Yep, when Harley Race helped "Expose the business" Also Fuck Jim for making fun of mental health. Panic attacks are a legitimate medical condition that many performers as well as regular people deal with

@UCJEG9rnqTBC0k3ohXdrF4ig fuck you. Jim isn't making fun of mental health. Yes there are performers who struggle with confidence performing infront of people, and sometimes their stories in overcoming anxiety can help other people over come theirs.
No one wants to see another adult coddled and babied over it.
I can't get over how much they adore Cody now, considering how much fun Jim has destroying this 🐂💩 "reality" show.😂😂
The difference between Cody & Brandi and HHH & Stephanie is that HHH & Stephanie are actually good at their jobs. HHH has been a big star in the ring for decades and is responsible for so many stars in WWE today because of his new vision for NXT and the Performance Center.
Cody can talk about wanting to be like his dad, but he actually just wants to be HHH.
Love the thumbnail. Pretty funny.

Please please please.. Jim watch this show every week 🤣🤣
"If I ever watch a baby shower on television again Brian, Please Shoot me" That got me going Lmao
Is this really a show anybody was asking for
These two are insufferable. Cody would be a great heel in a similar way to the Rock in 03 when he came back and he was a hollywod star. Cody could do a lite version of that where he thinks he's the best thing since slice bread, when in reality he's a z-list celebrity and a up jumped mid carder.
Except the Rock was actually already a megastar. Cody ain't never gonna be.
The fact the you mention Cody with the rock is embarrassing...moron
@@ChristopherJames1993 True and he will never be on the same level as him either. Cody hasn't got an ounce of Rock's natural charisma. This artwork... it haunts my dreams.

The thing about the miz show is that most is non wrestling and it's entertaining and doesn't insult the business
I think the ink from the neck tattoo warped Cody's brain. It's been all downhill since he got that thing.
I'm convinced that tattoo is a tumour, just like his wife
Dustin is the only Rhodes i like. The 3 biggest families in Texas are the Funks, Rhodes, and Von Erichs. Nothing about Cody screams Texas like it does with Dustin. Cody is just bland and dull, Brandi is horrible in her own way
My guess is you don't get Texas vibes from Cody is that by the time he was born Dusty was a mainstay in the Carolinas with Crockett. If I'm guessing Dustin was probably born sometime when Dusty was moving from Florida to Crockett . Cody though from what I understand grew up in Georgia and tbh I don't remember Dusty post 1980 having alot of ties to Texas other than tours and working for Watts and Boesch.
Dustin was born and raised in Texas from what I can remember. You don’t get Texas vibes off Cody because he grew up in Georgia. There’s a 15 year difference between Dusty’s kids so it’s almost like a completely different generation.
