- It's like playing Hell Let Loose with one arm tied behind my back, on very hard mode... But it is fun if you get into a good position.
I save the best footage for last, FYI.
My analysis is that this weapon is good for certain situations where other infantry are covering you as you advance on enemies who are behind cover, or inside a structure. It works very well on trenches if you are outside the trench and shooting down into it. It is decent at clearing a house, but not as good as the satchel. However, a satchel may kill many teammates, but this probably will not.
Its limited range and need to fire it in a bracing position makes it mostly very frustrating to use in most situations. I had a lot of times where I had to run or hide from the enemy because I was not close enough to do anything.
It does no damage to tanks.
The damage to trucks/jeeps is minimal and takes almost a full tank to destroy
It can destroy garrisons
It cannot destroy mines or supplies
I assume it would destroy airheads and outposts.
Acquiring this footage was very painful and took forever as I mostly just got shot from far away. XD
I had to play sneaky and get them from behind, front engagements almost always kill you and you usually get them too, but it is no fun trading all game.

RAM 64 GB (I recommend 32GB for this game, I have 64 for making videos)

So are you able to burn people through the ceiling? Because you purposely lit the ceiling on fire multiple times
@@Peter_Aranyos_Jr No you cannot. Even if you walk over the burning floor, it does not burn you if the flame hit from the other side.

I think my best moment with the flamethrower so far was on Remagen. I managed to flank the US attacking garrison and burn it out. I then proceeded to wipe out four outposts and practically half their team by sweeping them up with flames from behind. They were so focused on getting through our defenses that by the time I got to them they would be in complete utter confusion. Eventually I got ripped by a Thompson, but I basically single-handedly halted their push. It was amazing

you misspelled "annoying as fuck". You can't focus on enemy footsteps at all with idiots like this on your team, not to mention not being able to communicate.
The fatality rate of flamethrower operators for US was 98%. You were carrying your coffin on your back if you were a flamethrower operator.
Best moment in game for me was when I was riding on top of a Panzer II Luchs on Kharkov while the driver was blasting Sabaton - Ghost Division

They need to make a direct hit an insta kill and give it a little more range. And specifically on console increase the ADS turn speed to normal speed rather than decreased. You straight up can’t track someone at close range long enough to kill them if they’re running side to side. You briefly burn them, they outrun your turn speed, then kill you while they’re on fire. And if you come across more than one person even if they’re standing shoulder to shoulder you’re fucked cause you can’t turn to the second guy fast enough to kill him before he smokes you. It pretty much only works on people who are stationary and aren’t aware you’re there. Super underwhelming. But it’s still fucking hilarious setting people on fire lol

I'm a bit saddened by the fact that they didn't name the season "Charred Territories"
this proofs my point, the FT it's useless on most situations; i only used it once and killed 5 guys in a row, no more FT for me, i had enough. But, i think it should be on the US, german and russian assault class at a high tier, along with two frags, two smokes and the sidearm, imo it belongs more to the assault class than to the support class.
Though thematically that might make sense, I'm pretty sure the devs did it this way to force more people into playing support for the betterment of the game. Often you'll join servers where no one ever plays support and you have to only rely on the commander's supply drop to make garrisons. It's terrible.

Flamethrower review- Super fun and entertaining to use but is it effective ? not really. A, all engagements are very ranged B, feels like it should have more range then 23 meters because half the time your 3 or 4 meters outta range C, you have to pre fire every angle due to the bullets being faster then flame which is understandable D, whenever you shoot it EVERYONE wants to dead and knows the direction to hurl grenades and lastly E, travel time of the flame seems a little delayed or is that just me because it seems the visuals of the flame hit your enemy then it takes like a solid second for them to die after being hit directly. If they add gasmask cosmetics oml I'll use it forever
you actually managed to stay alive when firing that thing, good job! The flamethrower really needs improving. If you're getting 1000 degrees of fire thrown at you, you shouldn't be able to keep shooting with ease.
Pre flaming is the thing you need to do.
That didn't work well at 3:11. Worked great at 4:04. I think you have to burn the floor under them to maximize the damage.

At first I thought he was annoying, but then he became my personal medic throughout the game, it wasn't that bad. This game had a lot more footage too, but it got corrupted somehow so I could not use it, unfortunately. But basically I stormed the last point, burned them all with 2 other guys who were supporting me, and we capped the last point, just 3 of us. XD
The fact that enemies don't scream when getting cooked bothers me

It’s support class level 8. Use support at the very start of the match and drop your supply’s on HQ redeploy as a engineer immediately. And build a manpower node or munitions so you passively build xp as a support and even help build structures to gain xp as a support to unlock the flame thrower.

It's a great game and it is fun seeing the vets use the flamer, it is not easy, it is frustrating because you are a huge target everytime you use it.
If you just play the game like normal it takes a long time to unlock the flamer. However, you can look up videos on how to level up fast and could get it much faster, that's mostly building fortifications or doing artillery well.

@@mikos961 You do not get a penalty, the other person still gets a kill. It is just faster than holding F. Everyone in competitive does this. Just don't accidentally leave the server, I did that once. :P

When you burn the ouside of a house the people inside die?
I'm not entirely sure, I'd need someone outside to try to burn me to see for sure, but it seems to depend on how thin the wall is and how close the person is to a window or some sort of hole in the building.

No, when I made this video the flamethrower was new, so I was not sure what it would do. It makes the wall/floor look like it is on fire from the other side, but you can harmlessly walk over or by it.
