Trident is good if there is Loyalty, channeling, and impaling enchants on it, so I recommend sword because when a fire aspect, knockback, sharpness and looting enchant was there, the sword was too good. Edit: You can use the trident to fly when it has riptide enchant on it. Some players recommend Trident because it can use for range attach when there's a loyalty enchant on it. A Loyalty enchant is a enchant that can be added to a trident, the trident will automatically return after you throw it.
The Frost Walker enchant creates an ice path for you when you walk on water, the ice will eventually break, I bet the Frost Walker 2 enchant increases the time before the ice breaks
negative enchants dont really matter in hardcore because curse of vanishing just means you will loose the item if u die with it but hardcore u only get 1 life so that negative effect does not matter.
