Cool and all, but does this mean that you have to sort through your Bakugan collection (if you have one), pull out the Bakugan of your opponent's attribute, and then you can resume play?

no, you keep your translusent bakugan on the gate card, you and your opponent just need to remember that you've changed your attribute for this battle. they changed the bakugan in this commercial most likely to make it more easier to understand.

But what if the opponent also had a translucent as well like both pyrus?

Well then it would depend on who stood their Bakugan first, A translucent Bakugan can take on the enemy attribute when they stand. So if a translucent Bakugan stands on an empty card, nothing happens and they stick with their initial type. Example: Pyrus. But if the opponent throws down a translucent Darkus Bakugan, then they can either stay Darkus or change to Pyrus. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know if the Pyrus Wormquake was ever commercialized? Or is the one in the video the only one in the world?
