god damn man this is so sick!!! the colors, the bokeh, the communication and workflow with the stylists / models! Everything is so good. can i ask which cams/lens you were using? its looking really sharp and what film was this? Portra 400?
Thank you so much! I appreciate you noticing that. 🙏 film was Portra 400 in both cameras! I used my Mamiya 645E with the Mamiya Sekor 80mm f2.8 for the 120 film shots and my canon EOS 630 with a 24-70 2.8 for the 35mm shots!
@@SkylerWagoner thanks a lot for answering!! i really, really appreciate that, i defenetly need to try portra 400 again... had some "mid" results but its crazy to see how good it can be. Thanks a lot master, can't wait for the next videos!
@@tim_meyer always here to help! Portra 400 doesn’t always do the trick for me some results are a little mid but I just enhance them in editing! A really fun film stock to shoot with is Ektar 100. I love that one
Great video wildstyle!! ✌When we gon see photo editing video?! 😉 Just got my European 630, the EOS 600 on me and I've put first roll of gold200 trough it... really like the quality of portrait photos taken with this camera. I would like to see how you tweak the photos... even though, I think you don't have too much for them. 🤙
Awesome video, super helpful tips. I do have a question; when setting up a test shoot, do you hire the stylist and the models? I’ve been wanting to get into some fashion photography and want to do test shoots like the one in the video, but I have this fear that I’m going to have to shell out big bucks.
Thank you! I do hit up the models and stylists but It’s all a collaboration! Basically every video on my RUclips the model / stylist have done it free for the content. Don’t be scared to hit up people for collaborations!
amazing my bro! you gotta do like a some digital content as well, something like to achieve film look/colors with digital cameras, some LR editing tutorials (idk if you only shoot analog)! Amazing video, the pics are looking fiiiiiiire
I appreciate it!! I definitely am going to in the near future. I tweak my film scans in Lightroom so I’ll do a video on that. I also do shoot digital to so be on the lookout for some tips!
dude I’m seriously in love with you!!! woww just woww…. amazing work as always and amazing models… just spend my whole afternoon watching your videos and I just wanted to thank you, from the bottom of my heart… I’m starting on photography and was really unmotivated due to a lot of personal stuff, and now I just feel like grabbing my equipment and reaching out to people to shoot! really motivating content and work… would love to see more of you, please continue sharing with us your amazing art!!!! I have a question… do you recommend buying the canon eos 630? I came across a good deal and I’m considering buying it because of you actually, I’m 100% new to film photography.. what do you think?! any tips?! thank you!!! xoxo
Aw thank you so much!! I’m glad my channel made its way to you 🙏 you should absolutely grab your equipment and go shoot! Also yes I definitely recommend the eos 630!! Great camera, easy to use, can attach EF lenses it’s super sick! Do it 💪
