Your Ketamine on your chalkboard is wrong. It says 2-methylamino, yet your methylamino is on the 3rd position. The correct position is directly at the same C where the Chlorophenyl is, which is also at the second C. Thats why its called 2-(2-chlorophenyl)- 2 - (methylamino) and not 2-(2-chlorophenyl)-3 -(methylamino).

Actually, Ketamine is still used by people in the US for medical purposes quite regularly. It is used in a hospital setting for pain relief for folks that have a severe history of opiate dependence, as it can be much more effective than using opiates for such individuals. It is also used in an outpatient setting for depression, PTSD, and chronic pain. Source: I used to work in a hospital where anesthesiologists would discuss its use and there is a clinic here that uses it in an outpatient setting.
It really has nothing to do with liking the drugs, it has to do with their clinical efficacy in certain situations. People all over the world "like" drugs, ketamine included. I'm simply stating that ketamine has useful clinical applications where other drugs are not as effective.
Agree with Brian. I work in emergency medicine in the US, and we use it frequently for sedation and pain management. Ketamine has very few undesired side effects, and best of all, doesn't slow your drive to breathe like narcotics and benzos do.

I'll share my experience quickly. I did it once while on 1/8 mushrooms. I took a few hits and "fell back" into a completely different reality. I became a tribe of people living in the sides of caves for generations. I lived the lives of those people collectively in about five minutes. It wasn't the worst high I ever had but it was fucking mind blowing and I definitely ceased to exist in terms of being in my own consciousness. Pretty wild. "Lower level" trips can definitely be unpleasant though--sort of anxiety driven and a bit scary but if you (or me anyway) break through to another level, it's really something totally fucking wild.
Their Ketamine experiences are sooo different than mine. When I use it, it feels like my conciousness is down to like 50% and my arms and legs feel like rubber

Actually, Ketamine is still used by people in the US for medical purposes quite regularly. It is used in a hospital setting for pain relief for folks that have a severe history of opiate dependence, as it can be much more effective than using opiates for such individuals. It is also used in an outpatient setting for depression, PTSD, and chronic pain. Source: I used to work in a hospital where anesthesiologists would discuss its use and there is a clinic here that uses it in an outpatient setting.

It really has nothing to do with liking the drugs, it has to do with their clinical efficacy in certain situations. People all over the world "like" drugs, ketamine included. I'm simply stating that ketamine has useful clinical applications where other drugs are not as effective.
It's used in the Netherlands as well, though not as commonly.
Agree with Brian. I work in emergency medicine in the US, and we use it frequently for sedation and pain management. Ketamine has very few undesired side effects, and best of all, doesn't slow your drive to breathe like narcotics and benzos do.

I'll share my experience quickly. I did it once while on 1/8 mushrooms. I took a few hits and "fell back" into a completely different reality. I became a tribe of people living in the sides of caves for generations. I lived the lives of those people collectively in about five minutes. It wasn't the worst high I ever had but it was fucking mind blowing and I definitely ceased to exist in terms of being in my own consciousness. Pretty wild. "Lower level" trips can definitely be unpleasant though--sort of anxiety driven and a bit scary but if you (or me anyway) break through to another level, it's really something totally fucking wild.
Their Ketamine experiences are sooo different than mine. When I use it, it feels like my conciousness is down to like 50% and my arms and legs feel like rubber
