It's how you tackle the dude in the game yeah, then again tho, he will always be near one of you, and even if you might not look at them and have your lights off, if you back into him you're gone to. It's a really hard guy to try and get everyone out alive with.
If you look really closely at the tiles you can see holes where the spikes come from so you can do that without a detector, it'll just be more difficult and will take more time.
I just realized how to beat nechreph - Cameras! (unless there's a limited amount of photos you can take Just realized tablet exists, it's upgrade has night vision, which is good because it doesn't really emit light. that's it, the solution
Maybe just not moving when you hear the chains and looking at a wall until he teleports away could work? Granted, it's not really easy figuring out where the walls are when you have this menace run straight at you when you go near any kind of light. I guess you just need the tablet to have a chance of actually playing the game against Necreph.
