      I think it's being used here in the same way that punk bands in the UK like the sex pistols for example often used nazi symbols as a way to shock people but they obviously weren't actually for those beliefs.

      The song itself has a slight BDSM theme to it, but the performance itself is moreso mocking the war, considering the fact they're killing each other.
      And while it is extreme, it is theatrical, and the performance doesn't have any ill intention.
