@@dainhuston Del was great. Good cover of One Dime at a Time by Marty Stuart's band if you haven't seen it: ruclips.net/video/4At-UVlMW1s/видео.html I don't play, just enjoy good music!
Saw the Stray Cats in West Palm Beach about 1985 or so. Awesome concert in a club with about 800 people. Six rows from the stage. One of the best concerts ever. Life is better with Brian Setzer in it!
I saw them at a side gig in a Pub in Adelaide, South Australia, in 1994, totally blew everyone away! Never has anyone rocked so hard as those guys did in a little pub! Opened for Jimmy Barnes, played the gig I saw, then Brian played in Jimmy's band!
I wouldn't necessarily say that they're "better" but if you haven't checked out the reverend horton heat I would highly recommend. But yeah Brian Setzer & also the stray cats are criminally underrated.
Brian Setzer is an underrated genius. Stray Cats was the very first concert I ever went to. He shaped my entire musical life, and I couldn't be a better person for it. Long live Brian Setzer and the Cats! Cheers from NYC.
The great Del Reeves would be proud! That's a great cover of a great iconic trucker song! Released in 1965 and was Del's only #1. My favorite from Del was "Blame It On My Do Wrong". Thanks, Mr. Setzer! I've been a fan since the 80's! Keep Rockin' Brother! CHEERS
Love the way you twang that thang Brain! I even liked the happy ending of this! Many a long Christmas time ago, there was a special of yours on the telly, and my Dad that normally hates rock, came down to see what was going on, muttering, 'hug, he doesn't hit many sour notes does he'? That was high praise from my Dad! I think it was just called 'The Brian Setzer Orchestra Special,' and it really got after it! Great rock tunes!
Usually it is sacrilege to re-do a masterpiece, but once in a while someone comes along and proves me wrong. Not many musicians can pull that off...a very very small minority. Great job. To bad todays generation has no clue what music is. Soon to be lost forever.
Just saw him last night in Madison! First time I've seen him in about 30 years and it was the best show I've seen in years! Any artist that's halfway professional can turn in a decent performance but this was above and beyond. When you can tell the guys truly WANT to be jamming, you can tell the difference. Nobody can really fake that.
Looking forward to the concert! I am so jazzed we get to see and hear this master play live!! And, yeah...damn... Couldn't agree more - He nailed again!
Frist time I've heard this absolutely love it foot tapping never seen the stray cats live we"ll have to get on my Spotify all the best Brian take care stay safe jx
I've been a fan since '81, and, other than his Stray Cats stuff, this video has gotten a ton of views, as it should, great tune! Keep your eyes peeled for his new album, I'm sure it's going to be amazing!
WOW MR SETZER NAILS IT AGAIN
Yup!!!!
A Del Reeves tune from the late 60s.
Cool
So great to hear a great cover of a mid 1960s hit by Del Reeves. Setzer pulls it off once again!
Thanks for posting.
Whoa Cool ! Thanks for the heads up that it’s a Del Reeves cover I’m a big fan of One dime at a time pick & grin if you play 🎸🤘😎🤘

Written by Hank Mills and Walter Haynes and was first recorded and released by Del Reeves in 1965.
A rockabilly genius. So good to have Brian on the planet!
This is an awesome jam! A tune like this needs to be played loud! Let your neighbors hear it too!

@@LKaufman9050 Yes, all of the Stray Cats should be proud.
1984 for me and even smaller venue in San Francisco! First concert ever and I was 14 :)
The guy that rocked me at 11, is still rockin' me at 53!
I've still never heard better!

One of the best Country songs ever, but you can't beat Del Reeves.
