    I love this!
    This arrangement is masterful.
    I come from a preacher’s family in East Tennessee.
    That’s the organ we had.
    If I’d heard this growing up, I’d have been blessed in a tremendously differently way than I was.
    Thanks for sharing this!

    I think the open source sample sets are first rate and just as good as those you might pay for. I do not know which you are using here, so I am only speculating you are using an OS sample set since you are running GO. Nicely played! Merry Christmas.

    Nice job ... looks like an LDS chapel. I was going to ask about the Johannus organs ... but you have a Rodgers.

      My previous church building had Johannus but my current one I have Rodgers. I like the Rodgers a lot more.

    Could you showcase the sounds of the organ itself without midi?

    • @jasonripley555
      @jasonripley555  Год назад

      I could, I just have preferred using the midi with Grandorgue lately because I can get a lot cleaner sound and a bigger stop selection. I don't have the best audio equipment and just use my phone to record video. I could do it again here and there. Honestly if I had better audio equipment I would do it more because I really like the sound from Rodgers organs.

      @@jasonripley555 Thanks for the reply, I too am a fan of Rodgers organs and their sounds myself.
      Btw, how do you get rid of the loud banging sound you get on the sampleset when pedal is being played?

    • @jasonripley555
      @jasonripley555  Год назад

      @@nic_mar I don't notice any banging sound on the samplesets that I use. I tried making a custom sampleset a little while ago with Organ Builder for Grandorgue and had that problem of a banging sound with whatever note I pressed. I haven't taken more time to try to fix it so I have just been using already published samplesets.
      My favorites are Friesach by Piotr Grabowski and a custom sampleset by Ryan Thyork with added reverb files. If you already use published samplesets maybe it could be something in the auido/midi settings. I recently played around with that and got things sounding clearer for me because I had some skipping problems.

      @@jasonripley555 I heard it within the Friesach one but thanks anyway for the help!
