Instead of comparing her to Beyouncè can Americans focus on her clever writing? She refers to herself here as a car. What does men love more than their cars?
Tyla is a mix of amapiano, r&b , pop and afrobeats. Her songs are very versatile (if that's the word lol🤭) Im gonna give you Tyla's songs and which category/genre i personally think it falls in Push to start i would say is Pop /afro beats Back to you - r&b Shake ah - amapiano Amapiano is all about beats , its for vibes, clubs, partying, dancing , its not a genre that you could listen to normally like the way you would with r&b on a daily basis etc ...if you hear most amapiano songs you will come to hear that 99% of the song is just beats that get you dancing ...yah so basically amapiano is all about beats However i dont like this whole afrobeats thing when it comes to Tyla's songs cause personally for me its hard to find what songs of Tyla Actually fall into Afrobeats, it's like only 1% of her songs are afro ...i dont see or hear the afro beats honestly 😂😂😂but regardless of that i love all of Tyla's songs so much 99.9% of it 😂 i love them all So yah i feel that R&B ,. Amapiano and Pop plays the biggest role in Tyla's songs then afrobeats after 🤭 Side note: Alot of Tyla's old songs are amapiano
7:51 Amapiano is a SA genre, more of like SA house, lounge music but Tylas songs are not fully amapiano except for To last thats authentic amapiano but the rest of the songs has a fusion of amapiano ( with the log drum) , pop and rnb
Combination of Amapiano and RNB
