    Enjoyable, easy to follow, great looking set up, natural methods by the look of it, which is the only way to go imho. And by luck, a plant based, vegan lifestyle mentioned. Didn't realise it when I clicked on. Thank you!

    Thx Fred! Just bought some kennebec seed potatoes today. I Google searched “how to plant kennebec potatoes” and you were the first thing that popped up. I hollared over at my hubby, “Hey this is the guy you watch!” 😃 😁 Now I feel confident! Off to the basement I go to cut me some spuds to heal over.

    Thank you for mentioning the healing process after cutting larger potatoes. That was the mistake I was making! My seed potatoes were rotting and now I know why.

      I was surprised when he said that. I’ve never done that, I’ve been growing Kennebec all of my life and I’ve never done that. Maybe it’s my location or luck but I always plant them about the middle of March.

    Hello!, I noticed you planted the Kennebec's whole, is there any particular reason? , I guess what I mean is, if I cut them and plant them chits up in the ground won't there be a better yield? thanks in advance for answering.

      Hi Bill, I have always bought my seed potatoes a little on the smaller side so I didn’t have to cut them up. That didn’t seem to affect the amount of harvest. I hope you have a bountiful garden season!

    How often do you water?

    • @PlantSmartLivingNOW
      @PlantSmartLivingNOW  4 года назад +2

      Hi Tim, if there’s no rain during the week I deep water my plants about 1 inch every week. you’re always want to make sure you deep water your plants so you train the roots on your plants to go deeper into the soil.
