I had been a fan of Cinderella ever since my high school days.
I got to see them in Peoria Illinois in 1986 when they were opening up for David Lee Roth.
I hadn’t started taping shows yet and I wish I had. I’ve never found a recording of that night.
So when I saw that Cinderella was touring again in 2005, I just had to go and see them.
I was also excited that Quiet Riot and RATT we’re also on the bill.
It was a very nostalgic evening for me.
I had great seats and a good time. My recording came out really well.
One interesting bit of information was that the keyboardist and the lead guitar player both died on the same day,
but for unrelated reasons.
