I love Brooks Bouquet! It is one of the techniques I teach at our local art college.

Well done Steph, it looks so comfortable. I'm going to try this but my loom is 60cm so figure the stripes will have to be vertical and it will have very short sleeves! Thanks for a very interesting video as usual. ❤

Yes will be interesting to see the Brooks bouquet vertically. 😁

That's great Steph, you have more patience than I'll ever have to do all those fiddly Brooks Bouquet sections. There's a weaver here in the UK who practices a "wear what you weave regime". Just search for Sarah Howard on RUclips and have look at some of her stuff. Looking forward to more of your ideas for future garments!

Love your process. Wish I could see the finished top.

Lovely top Steph, how are your seams holding up? I ask because I noticed that you didn't do a finishing treatment for the side seams. Has the zigzag stitching enough to prevent fraying?

So far so good, but I’ve only worn it twice and washed it twice so far. Time will tell!

@@RigidHeddleWeavinginBrisbane Good to know, I bought up a lot of that recycled cotton when The Thread Collective had it on clearance a few months back. I've got it on my inkle loom atm and it does seem to be standing up to the abrasion by the tablets. Cheers from ne Vic.
