I just came back from Florida yesterday, last time I fished the skyway pier it was in 2019 and I caught a 34” gag grouper on a live pinfish. I can’t wait to go back out later this year. Keep it up, love your videos man. 💪❤️

Just went out to the north pier today. Caught a mangrove snapper, and a buddy caught a nice Pompano

Thanks for all the amazing information!!! Any spots to avoid when trying to fish around that area? We only surf fished the when we were down there. Caught some keeper pompano. Typically 3000 size reel
@Thonny Yeah, I'm thinking about getting the C3000MHG like the model you use. It's between that and the C3000XG for more line. Do you ever find yourself needing more line?

When something says they're using 15lb braid, is that the diameter or breaking strength? I run 30lb braid but handles like 8lb.

What test braid and leader do you use for grouper? I've heard all types of sizes being needed from only 30-50# to 80-100# but wasn't sure what you may use.
I would say it depends on how far out you are free lining the pinfish. When your 100 yards plus out you really need to heavy leader and line to prevent being rocked. Closer its fine to have lighter line
