- The shaman Rainbreath came back to quest in the Tanaris desert. Now he is more experienced, level 44 and he has learned the Elemental magic. He can wear mail armor, which is making him pretty tough after level 40. The crit numbers are high, and our shaman can solo 2 mobs about the same level.
Tanaris is a rough place to level up, the quests require a lot of kills, big distances to walk. But the ambience in this area (including Shimmering Flats from Thousand Needles) is immersive, very well created by the artistic team at Blizzard.

On the technical side, the sound levels are modified a lot but still did not manage to find a perfect balance between music & ambience & fight. I hope you will enjoy it nonetheless.

On the tonight's Classic WoW announcement, I am both excited and disappointed. The reasons are obvious and already there are a lot of people talking about it on the forums.
I'll remain faithful in Blizzard's ability to launch successfully the WoW Classic and hopefully I will be able to film something during the Demo period.
Limited play time?
Not Elwynn + limited play time.
Imo it was better for a Elwynn / Durotar combination, but the limited play time really annoyed me. Oh well... At least they won't be able to tell that when they will launch the full game.
For me, Tanaris was similar to Stranglethorn Vale. You've just hit level 40 and came from Thousand Needles (by foot!) to Gadgetzan, took all the quests (Time is money, friend) and went outside the city. And here the real PvP starts.
Yes, it's actually very rough here, no place to hide. Outside but also inside the city, players camping on the buildings for example.
I know I'm late to the party, but I've just found your channel. I love the simplicity and the memories it invokes. I can't play anymore, so it's nice to just watch and remember simpler times in my life. Subscribed and liked of course. Cheers.

I even preferred the colour scheme and ambient light from that era. It's bloody hard to make the live version look like this, the lighting and depth etc looked better for me back in the day.

Really love all of your videos Meisio, they're so aesthetic. You're making it hard for me to try and quit WoW all together. Question; what server are you playing on with this character?
:) Don't quit. Stay casual. The best thing ever :) But would be useful to have another payment system like "pay for play" (actually pay only for days played. That would be nice).

What addon are you using for your interface where you have the mini map on the bottom of your screen?
It's called SimpleMap. Go through settings and customize it like I did. It's not default.
diggin the ui. very minimalistic. i do the same thing with live
Thanks. On live I use even a more abstract interface. This is nice while not in a party or raiding. There you need more thing on your screen to be a top player.

Yes, would have been useful to have this macro on, also have a lot of mana to spare! :)
Joke aside now, these macros are useful when you are playing alone - I mean not recorded, which is most of the time :D
- buffing a lot means I need to drink a lot. You guys don't watch my videos to see me drinking :)
- on my videos I am trying to be basic with a lot of things. I am not demonstrating my "imba" skills aka "rock the world" :) I need a straight forward experience with simple fights. That's why I am not using anything "complicated". I could have use a macro for totems as well.
As a general thought:
- when your mana pool is really limited and try to allocate the mana for situational spells (e.g.: sometimes I want my mana spent on chain lighting instead of buffing myself);
But it is a useful video for the community, so I encourage you to create more! :)
