Agreed on Howl, 10/10 album that's sadly underrated. You should go to her fancon in the US if you can, she's going to quite a few cities. I was lucky enough to see her in Korea for her last tour. She was so amazing it made me a fan.
Chuu is one of my favourite soloists, I love Howl! ♥ I highly recommend watching a video with the choreo, it's adorable, e.g. the performance video on her channel! She also has a great live version at KBS CoolFM! ♥
Well. I watched Premiere of Virtual Angel in a darkened room without subtitles, and it was just too much. I understand the creative concept but I still really felt like it was going to be a huge hindrance for views. and it was. it doesn’t help that orbits really overreacted…some saying they would never watch the MV again. Not me. I’ve seen it at least a dozen times and i think my brain is just used to it now. I wish Digipedi had released the human eye version first. Dall is so good. Virtual Angel is just a wonderful song. The live stages are worth seeking out. I love Haseul in this era.
Istg there isnt a single person in the history of ever ever that is as adorable as Chuu. She is just walking, talking, serotonin. 100% if you check serotonin under a microscope every molecule looks like Chuu 😅
I'm always waiting for your reactions to LOONA member's songs. For Virtual Angel, I'd recommend the 'Human Eye' version so you can see the visuals better and the storyline. 😊
Please check out the whole album of Artms. Is so good. And it would be great if you could check out their Sparkle, Butterfly Effect and Distress performance (these last two there's fancam from the showcase).
I completely understand the Virtual Angel MV being too much, but that was intentional. Its playing on 'angels are difficult to look at directly for too long', hence the 'blinking'. So yeh, as an artistic choice, it makes sense but could have been executed better. Apparently, it was much worse before the girls/digipedi spoke up, and the warning wasn't even there at release either. They got the Human Eyes version out very quickly, so it was either already planned or Digipedi already had it made just in case of backlash lol. Also, a week and many listens/watches later, I still get the biggest grin on my face watching Strawberry Rush. One of my top songs for the year, for sure.
