I had this Chinese girlfriend when I was like 17-18. She had this friend, Liam. Liam was my friend before I met her but then when I was with her I started noticing how slimy he was. Follow her around constantly. Calling her his sister. Doing things like being overly cuddly and trying to kiss her neck. Constantly trying to get her to drink and inviting her to stay at his house, always with an excuse and never just to stay, obviously. He'd find out we were at the other ones house to bang so he would just turn up saying he was bored and coming to see what we were up to. Got to the point that I did NOT like the guy and tbh was like 'I'm uncomfortable with you hanging around him because the guy is a legit creep and he's trying to get you to drop your guard around him so he can fk you and he's disrespecting me'. That basically led to us breaking up after 3 years because how dare I be so abusive and controlling and tell her who to be friends with. Oh well. We were young and it wasn't like we were going to grow old and have kids together and stuff.
Fast forward not too long after we broke up. Hot Chinese girlfriend goes to a party with fat creepy friend, drinks too much and falls asleep. Who wants to guess what happened next? You're probably right. He's probably out now, but he got like 4 or 5 years. Oooh but I was so abusive and controlling 😂😂

Discovered Sam Hyde when I was 13 changed my life
i like a lot of what Sam says. I just don't think its healthy to push down your emotions. you don't need to cry about everything all the time its true. but taking the time by yourself to get a hold of your emotions, soothe yourself, make yourself strong again for your family and yourself sounds right to me. i also dont believe its possible to be creative when your unhappy, you cant brute force creativity like a stoic warrior. you need to be in a playful and "good" head space. you need to make sure you're doing pretty ok in life, socially, emotionally, financially, in order to start being creative correctly. otherwise all that other shit will annoy you and disturb your process.
I used to be one of those guys until I started smoking weed and one night after a bong rip my own brain asked me "Dude wtf are you doing? Don't be like dad."
