- The garlic crop is proving to be a high worth horticultural crop, especially for farmers living in semi arid parts of the country. On Smart Farm tonight, our reporter Denis Otieno caught up with a well known figure, who is slowly creating an empire in the cultivation of garlic in the country.
My dad was a garlic farmer in the 90s. There was zero market. He loved it so much 😢😢

Can some tell me why we import garlic from China surely? There should be no food stuff imported into Kenya whatsoever. Kenya is an agricultural country we can grow anything.
