    Your Romans look great. When you and Ranger put the two halves together it is going to be an awesome sight.

    The Victrix and Footsore figures mix really well, I couldn’t see any major difference

    • @TriariusWarGaming
      @TriariusWarGaming  5 месяцев назад +1

      The footsore heads and hands are slightly larger, but otherwise they do fit really well!

    Having baggage and camp stuff is a great touch for these pre-modern armies, it was essential and capturing the camp was a big win for an army as I’m sure you know

      Totally agree! On the flip side something looting the baggage preoccupied an army and they lost control! Definitely an under appreciated element of warfare in a lot of rule sets.

    What an excellent feast for the eyes! Your figures are looking wonderful when laid out in battle order; can't wait to see any pics of the complete armies facing off across the battlefield! 🎨🖌👌👍

    Incredible work - huge congrats! Really keen to see the photos when the forcs are combined and on the table at Historicon. Bases look fine as is from a distance, but I apprecaite you might want to do the extra work so that they are up to yuor own personal standard and you can call them 'finished' :) Best of luck with the Germanic warriors still to come!

      Thanks so much man! Yeah I am excited to see what things look like also, honestly not sure how it will look! The Germans should be easier to paint, but whole lot of them to do on the flip side!

    This is majestic! It's probably already the biggest 28 mm Late Roman army I've seen so far...😲👏 May I ask what miniature you are planning to use for Emperor Julian himself?

      @TriariusWarGaming  5 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks so much! I'm planning on using some of the command figures from footsore miniatures for Julian!

      Thanks man. I'm definitely an ADHD wargaming butterfly, but having a set deadline and people depending on you definitely helps a lot LOL

    I want to put my minis on bases like that too. Their poses add realism. Unfortunately, I play mostly skirmish games and they dont use large bases for multiple minis.

    • @TriariusWarGaming
      @TriariusWarGaming  5 месяцев назад +1

      I would collect both sides over time and do a portion of your forces multi based. Maybe the skirmish portion of the army forms a third of the total force, and then put the remaining 2/3s on multi-bases. If you collect both sides you could then provide all the forces needed

      Awesome! Victrix can serve well for the generic infantry, definitely check out aventine miniatures for the cavalry!
