Just before you get to East Liverpool. Anything Route 7 and Route 2, we would take joy rides to all those towns along the Ohio River back in the early 80's. Sad what they have become.
That is really sad. This is a neighboring city to E. Liverpool, OH. They look about the same but Wellsville is on a smaller scale. I was born in E. Liverpool and raised on the WV side of the Ohio River in Chester. Thank you for showing these videos. It is a shame this has happened to once thriving small towns. Enjoy your channel a lot.
No I love wellsville so much I wish it was a more active town and that the adults were nice even tho they never seem to grow up here I love going out side and walking around going to the docks there’s a very satisfying amount to explore with the way it is
Sometime ago, I was pulling into a gas station off Route 7 to the main road in Wellsville. I got a bad vibe and left before getting gas. I eventually got gas up the road in Calcutta.
Thank you for this beautiful channel!! I am here, drinking my coffee and eating something while I am watching you!!! Please, dont stop and soon soon 100K 🎉🎉🎉
What on Earth was all that pink stuff, and the lot of signs right next to it? The only signs I could read were, “I keep smiling,” and “I am afraid of people.” 😮😳 I read a story about a pink house in Wellsville, NY, but not Wellsville, OH. I’m so curious!! 😊
Om from east liverpool. Lived in wellsville since 1999... was a nice little town back then now it's ghetto. I live in Hillcrest now. Sad what wellsville has become
this is a sad situation. I was raised in Wellsville. Back in the 50s, 60s and 70s this was a thriving town with it's own businesses and industrial tax base. Now it is a ghost of what it was. I don't currently live there any more. But I would love to see some city planning to revitalize the downtown and infrastructure.
I lived in Wellsville since i was born in 83, Untill i turned 18 and moved 4 hours away, we lived in public housing which is the independence square untill i was about 5, and then over on Chester Avenue ( Where my mother and MIL still resides and refuses to leave or Move to where i am) Untill i was 17, Seeing this video hurts my heart. Its become a Ghost Town.
It's sad that so many towns are closing and allover the Midwest at least. Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia all losing businesses and folks to work. No return for so many. It harms the country so much.🇺🇲
I really enjoy your videos. I’ve been watching for quite some time. You always capture the beauty of even small, poor towns. The south and neighboring states like Ohio, are really beautiful. The poverty is sad, but the nature runs havoc over and in homes. It’s absolutely intriguing. You always capture the beauty in your videos. So much irony when poverty and beauty r intermingled. Keep doing what you are doing. The lush green south is a sight to see 👍
Hello Friend..... I can imagine small towns as such we're BUSY with residents/ shoppers/ visitors sun up / sun down..In my mind I believe Families/ people still some how some way live in the homes although run down.. What no one sees 🤷🏻♀️ really don't need to know.. STAY SAFE I'm your Travels enjoy your evening
Wow just imagine all of the people who once live there and those that do now seem to have nice vehicles and I'll have to look into it but it seems like Wellsville Ohio was the subject of some deep existential college level literature in the past 50 years
Truly a shame! The setting is gorgeous and many of the homes are beautiful. It’s really sad to see such a beautiful town in such a state of decay. 😢 If people who really cared had all the money in the world maybe this wouldn’t happen.
For those wondering about the lot with the pink rubble and signs, It's a massive public art installation by artist Gigi Janko. Its about the artists angst against the declining community near the banks of the Ohio River. That place used to be the former Immaculate Conception Church which was bought by the artist and now has been getting attention from people living outside the village as well.
These places always have houses 2 feet from industrial buildings, as in the beginning of the video. Isn't there any zoning or a planning board? Who would build a house 2 feet from a factory? Such as the place shown at :38.
I admire the people who are trying to keep their home & property nice amid the ruins.
It's incredible how many communities are like this. It's, also, very sad.

Nice job as usual. I enjoy every one of these I catch.
Another great video. Always sad to see nice homes that have been abandoned because owners had to go somewhere else and start over.
I’ve been through this town and thought to myself nothing has changed in 100 years!
I always love a small town surrounded by hills! Sad for this town however!
thanks for the tag along
1:32 The Masonic lodge is well-kept😁 It reminds me of the Anthracite coal region in PA.
I agree!
Ahh yes, the Masons.

I enjoy these videos. House at 0:25.. how beautiful.
The little town is quite beautiful. It’s a shame about all the abandoned houses and businesses.

Looked like pink drilling equipment. Weird for sure.
@@thejudgmentalcatI literally live 10 streets down. They call it art. I'm serious LOL😅
It’s this amazing art piece being worked on a lot of people don’t like it but the artist has an important story to tell
A well used double track mainline railroad still exists passing this place right on by.

Nice camera streaming in 2160
Sad to see those beautifully achitectured homes wasting away.😢
Cheers this is another nice video.
I would love to have the lumber, If i hade a place to store it
Great videos! If you do not mind telling, what is your camera setup you are using? Very clear, stable and not through the windows.
I stopped in that closed gas station a few years ago. I was wondering than how are they still in business.

Even the trailer park is abandoned.
lots of stories behind these old buildings. If walls could talk. a lot of these towns have potential for tourist. Even weekenders

Porque essa cidade está abandonada
Sad 😞
😢😥Sad.
These impoverished towns always seem to have lots of churches and someone riding around in a mobile wheelchair.
Do you know what the paranormal activity is like there?
Zero like everywhere else too 🫣
What happened to the ceramics industry? Don't peopll buy dishes anymore or did that go to China?
They still have Homer Laughlin that is right across the river. Also where most of the area work.
The local paint store sure sells residents some god-awful exterior colors. 😝
Not so Wellsville
So sad to see
