What you guys think about these replica ZR1 wheels? They weren’t my first choice, saw many other wheels I liked but none fit the corvette because it needs a very high offset +79. Had to go with a company that makes wheels just for the vette. Maybe I’ll find some better wheels in the future. For now I’m happy with the ZR1s. :)
I actually ordered these wheels yesterday and just cancelled it. I too ordered this wheel only because they offered the +79 offset. However, I ended up the ZO6’s 5 star wheel from JEGS vs the ZR1. Even though its not the “Exact” factory size, they will still fit. Honestly.. The ZO6 back wheels are 19x10 but a +65 offset…. I don’t think it will make that much a difference. The front wheels are 18x9.5 vs 18 x 8.5 so everything should be fine. I just like the 5 spoke/star-blade look vs the ZR1
Use safety glasses to keep those sparks out of your eyes. Also mask off areas where those sparks can burn through the paint. Wheel look great. I would have painted the spacers and rotors black to have a seamless look to the set up.
NEVER EVER use wheel spacers. I do not care what anyone says. Wheels spacers are not safe and very dangerous. You should have bought rear wheels with the back spacing you wanted. Sorry but you have been warned.
Looks familiar! I had to use a grinder to cut the studs on my 16 GT to fit 20mm spacers with my performance pack wheels. Spacers and the new wheels look great on it!
You should have wore safety Glasses, it only takes one small piece of steel to mess up your eye . Will the rear wheel rub if you hit a dip in the road at high speeds?
Ed Coley for sure, I couldn’t find them anywhere that day and risked it but you’re right. Stupid move by me lol No, I asked around the corvette community and figured out that 20mm spacers is the widest you can go without messing up your quarter panels
