You found it just in time, a few days later and the pulley would come fly off the engine...I will certainly check mine as well. Its not the first thing I think about when having some vibrations. Thanks again !
update: it was night and I could not see the bolts from the top of the engine, so I squized my arm between the engine and the radiator and I was able to count them all with my finger tips :)
hey new to the channel and i was curious as to where you buy your audi part since in lookiing for a Audi A6 Power Steering Fluid Tank Bottle Reservoir and the connecting hoses
Hi and welcome! I usually buy from ECS Tuning at www.ecstuning.com Below are the part numbers you can research on the site to see the prices and availability. Power steering fluid reservoir: 4F0 422 371 E Supply hose (VIN to 4F-5-054 750): 4F0 422 887 L Supply hose (VIN from 4F-5-054 751): 4F0 422 887 R Return hose: 4F0 422 891 E Clamp supply hose to reservoir: N 90686902 Clamp supply hose to pump: N 10255601 Clamp return hose to reservoir: 4B0 422 379 Clamp return hose to cooler coil: N 10255501
Hi. My engine is vibrating. On start up if you touch the engine cover you can feel it. Whilst driving i can feel and hear it in through the steering wheel, footwell and engine. Is this likely to be the same thing. I have recently had some work done on front end around the tensioners that effected air con.
@@Kokouvia yeah thank you I’d heard engine mounts and or snub mounts? before. Not something I can do I doubt snub is easier but would it cause vibration or just shifting?
@Nick Wells The snub mount would not cause vibration. It is mounted at the nose of the engine and moves only during hard acceleration or had shifting to stop excessive engine movement. The engine mounts would be likely to cause vibration at idle but only if you are sure your engine is not misfiring.
The shown 3.2 is not the auk engine in the a6 . The shown engine has the engine code cala its the better version of the auk and has a different cylinder head . The Cala head are more similar with the 3.0t Supercharger engine. The 3 blocks are pretty same tho. Therefore Moste of them have the same bottom end issues
@@Kokouvia I’m having a no start issue and I replaced the starter today and Still no start. I’m getting power to it. I Was driving car 2 months everyday with cam girdle leak and I was adding oil. Noticed it was running rough so I decided to take coils and plugs out and clean oil off. Put everything back together and got no start. Just a click. Everything else powers up but no crank. Just a click like a dead battery. I’ve also tried jumping the car with a battery jump box under the hood connected and vehicle with jumper cables to the battery connected as well …. No Start. I was going to check the relays today but if they are good what else can cause this issue ? I was told that the steering module can cause all types of problems because of how the starting diagram is designed. Appreciate any help
@@mikestevenson1502 Sorry about the issues. There has to be something wrong with what you did last. I would disconnect the connectors to the ignition coils and any other connectors you have disconnected and check them for dirt or debris. The ECM may be preventing the engine from cranking and starting because it may result in damage. A scan of the engine should return a code which should point you to the right direction.
Hello I need your help , I don’t know what the name of this hose is but my car is leaking coolant , I replaced the reservoir , bought a radiator hose, my mechanic told me another hose to buy was the heater coil hose but the picture and the part doesn’t match. I also have a Audi A6 3.2L I just want to figure out the name of the hose so I can switch . Thanks
@@Kokouvia yes it is the upper radiator hose and another hose connected right underneath, I just don’t know the name of the hose . I can send a picture to your email if you have any ?

Thanks for your videos, greatings from Bavaria
Did you use a video to make that intro or did you make that intro yourself? BTW the intro is badass.
I used an existing video.
Inspection and maintance is key to this engine.
Incroyable cette histoire de vis ! 😳
As usual, your videos are super and insightful merci bien!!
Thank you so much. Great video once again.
Thank you my bro. I continue to appreciate your videos while waiting to take ownership this real '' beast '' of the road.
Very handy, thanks so much.
You are welcome.
Thx for a tip, will check mine today ;)

Sorry about that. If you don't hear any noise and there are no engine fault codes, it could be your engine mounts.
