I don’t understand this conduit gem meta, where people are saying it’s the best starter for full defense solo laners. It only raises your magical power by 15%, right? And a little move speed and like what less then a hundred flat power? If you don’t have that much magical power to begin with, I don’t get why that 15% is so appealing. I’d rather go for timeline or axe and get a secondary effect that’s better for my sustain, or even vamp shroud to heal. Can someone explain?
It is for the early clear, its upgrade also gives movement speed so that's a big bonus. In this case Xings clear is horrible so he kinda needs conduit to clear
@@erdinc2590 that’s another thing, I don’t see how it clears THAT MUCH better lol. Yes I know if gives more true damage, at max stacks, but that’s it. If you go hourglass, you get guaranteed 15 true damage and more cdr to get that guaranteed true damage more often. With gem you do like…10 more damage, if you wait for the stacks and don’t spam your abilities. Which, in solo, you should be spamming your abilities on cooldown more often than not
@@jaredramirez9623 well, most of the gods who need comduit to clear usually has 10+ second cooldowns. It may seem little but it adds up and it deals double dmg to minions so it is usually much better than Sands Of Time in that regard
@jaredramirez9623 early it's like 40 extra damage per minion. Pretty noticeable if you have bad clear.
@@Juggornawt it’s like 40 extra damage per minion IF you wait and get all the stacks on the (hopefully only) 2 abilities max you need to clear. Again, in which case, you then need to wait for all of the stacks between casts, and then you have at best the 10 cdr from blue buff to get those abilities back up and fight/ pressure between waves (because if you’re a Mage/gaurdian solo your autos have basically 0 value unless you’re jorm or bake). So then again, I have to ask, why would you not prioritize the CDR starter and value that 10% cdr and the freedom to spam your abilities without waiting for stacks? When all you lose is, assuming you’re waiting the full time for all your gem stacks better abilities, 10 true damage?
