Thanks so much. A little difficult to explain sewing in a message but will try to explain briefly. You would need to take a straight strip of fabric of around 1.75" wide. Sew or stick the 1" canvas strip to that. Then place it on the write side of the ankle part, stitch at 1/2" and turn to the wrong side. It is almost similar to how you finish the neckline with facing method.

Salwar pants can be made in any fabric. If you are a beginner you may start with soft cotton fabric.

We give back and front pleats in patiyala salwar. You can make different variations for different look.

Ma'am can u answer me, how to calculate the cloth needed for a girl or woman according to the measurements?
Calculate the length of the garment [kurti or bottom], add seam allowance and double the measurement. That is the fabric requirement.
