This is actually one of my favorite versions of her.
Yeah I wasn’t sure how I felt when I saw the clip of her arguing with the civilian but then I watched the movie. It seemed like they gave her an arc about overcoming being too headstrong, but they probably should have leaned into that more

I actually never gave it much thought on how primitive Earth would seem to Kara. She's academically a genius in comparison too. Kal's adjustment was simpler because he practically grew up on Earth. I have a whole new respect for Supergirl now, honestly.
Poor Clark. Imagine how he must have felt watching his cousin become the bride of the descendant of one of his worst enemies. Surely now Christmas dinners in his house will be something worth seeing 😅
It doesn't mean his bad not all sons or daughters from the original villains are bad.
@@maddysmith8079 Doesn't matter. Now he has to deal with his cousin dating some descendant of one of his worst supervillains who carries the same name. It's annoying and Supergirl should know better but clearly runs on stupid hormones.

I like how they switch her love interest and made Mon-El the main villain in this version because when I first saw him I honestly thought they were gonna go the same direction like they did in CW Supergirl show.

Does anyone believe Meg Donnelly, Kara Zor-El's voice actress, would've been a great Supergirl. Not that I dislike Milly's casting, but Meg really spoke to me. She has Supergirl's look, her feisty, bubbly energy, and she looks pretty strong and badass.
Just saying it was a missed opportunity.

In superman unbound superman ses he is older cause the rocket that caried him to earth used a wormhole\lighspeed system while the one that brought her was using a standard drive. In comics she was sent to earth when she was a teenager and Clark was just a baby. However her pod got knocked off course so when she did get to earth, Clark was already an adult.

I love this Supergirl design, but I really wish DC would stop NOT having the "S" on the back of Supergirl's (and Superman's) capes.
The reason is that it’s takes to much time and budget to animate the yellow s on a moving cape.
However, they did do it in ‘Superman Unbound’

I'm kinda on the fence about Kryptonians having superspeed tbh 2:35 3:35 6:07 10:10. Part of me thinks it's awesome, but part of me also dislikes it because they're already OP asf.
I hate whenever it feels like Superman is more powerful than every character of the Justice League combined tbh, especially when they make him seem as fast as the Flash (who's supposed to be the fastest man alive).
I guess I'm fine w/ it as long as it's kept in check tho, i.e. they can move at the speed of a train, but not as fast of Flash.
