Bigbang is a huge part of ikon, winner, and treasure. Literally their role model, their inspiration to pursue their dream as an idol, the reason why they want to be in YG too.
Actually most of the treasure members especially the jline, became an idol/yg artist because of bigbang. They really look up to them and respect them so much. Safe to say that they grew up to their musics. Seeing them cry made me emotional. I am also just like them, maybe I am not an artist but I also grew up listening to bigbang musics. I won't be so attached to kpop right now or discovered kpop if it's not because of them.
I didn't cry when watching the MV, but I did started crying when I watched JRE'S reaction (the first reactor I ever watched back 8 yrs ago) and then seeing Haruto, Yoshi and Jihoon cry 😭
JRE is al false VIP 😒 He was the first to turn his back on BIGBANG when in 2019 everyone went against them and on top of that he had hated comment about Ri.

The more I listen to this song the less I feel like it’s a goodbye. It feels more like a cleaning of the slate and a new beginning is coming. Especially the parts that remind us that after winter comes spring again. It really does invoke that nostalgic feeling of good times past but in a sad way as if it reminds us we can’t go back. Maybe that’s why it hit Yoshi so hard. I also saw that Jihoon was wiping some tears too. I was definitely tearing up again when I saw the lone light stick at end though.

it's true predecessors build the 'frames' for their successors in general but bigbang represents a bit more than that in their industry cos back then kpop was heavily influenced by jpop with their hypercutesy lolita or super saiyan style and without bb bringing in the american hiphop genre into korea at that point in time i don't think kpop would've become as big as it is today.. maybe there might've been a different group or individual who eventually would've but fact is that it was bb that started it
Omg just saw this but I think Treasure really has a diff reaction to the MV because they dont really have a close relationship with BB. WinKon was there when BB was active and they were with mentors, I think its safe to say that BB were like big brothers to them. But with Treasure, only Yedam worked with BB closely so for them BB are still like unreachable superstars.
You wouldn't really think a 2nd generation group(I think they are at least) would be able to comeback especially considering the events preceeding. BigBang left for military service where seungri had his issues and then theres COVID. Taeyang has a baby. The odds of a comeback were really doubtful but im glad they did
