This gives a slight touch of reality when you understand, empathize with, and relate to all of the Grey haired ‘older gentleman’. Feels like I aged 20 years over night, but thankfully got 50 years smarter. Thanks for letting us ride along on this wonderful journey, it’s truly magical. EDITED for MY mistake(s)
I'd love to do the chase sometimes. That's a great program you guys started, getting bikes to little kids. I don't remember a lot from my early childhood days but I do remember the moment (and the feeling) of figuring out how to balance a 2 wheel bike for the first time. I was pushing myself around our back patio for hours and all of the sudden it just happened....then I was out on the streets peddling away.
Fab, well done for the endurance, camaraderie an sheer bloody mindedness. Congratulations all who made it, an better luck next time, those who didn't this time.

That was really an epic film and adventure. It was great seeing these old bikes actually on the road. I've got two (2) 1957's in the garage that don't run. One should be on the road by summer. i'd love to do one of these adventures. Cheers! PS. The graphics had the years wrong on some of those bikes, but that's just me nit picking. I don't know if you've noticed that only the famous darley havidsons have broken down on the side of the road? Oh yes, and a Triumph! No BMW, no Indian or other brands, just your favorite "legends"!
I wonder how many "ADVENTURERS" have taken their 1250 GSs ore 1290 Ktms in a dangerous trip down to the city center while you were riding your old machines in this glorious journey! God bless you all!

Nice job Bro looks good, I took off the bolt that holds the seat on and swapped it out for a thumbscrew bolt, much quicker to remove as well as looking heaps tidier
Wonderful to see all of these old bikes on Route 66. I would have loved to hear them more instead of loud music when they were running. Please cut more of that music out in the future so we can hear them 😊
I would like to say I really enjoyed your film. I'm an Aussie, food for thought ,maybe 2024 could be a good time to return to the states for a ride. Question, what is the youngest bikes that are eligible to participate? 1960's?
I rode this road in 1967 on a 160cc Honda Scramble from Kansas to CA. It took me 4 days. It was in late November. I almost froze to death.
I house/dog sat for my boss and his wife so they could participate in this event. Looks like they had as much fun as they said they did.
