Because of low DPM. If scalp naval is equipped, Liren has 1.8M DPM. It is less than Basity when 2x scalp naval, 2x monark, 3x type726, and locked torpedo are equipped. It is 2M DPM. Also, Liren`s fire power is less than many ships. For example, Akizuki, Constitution and Type055.
@@user-su8tl6ew2j i dont think the low dpm was ever a problem with liren tho, also the title of the vid is not entirely correct as liren is still one of the strongest ship in the game
@@CarnageXAddy388z used it and i have to say, it was too good that using it doesnt make me feel the thrill of challenge. therefore, by doubt, i mean it is not favoured by pros but not due to the skill required to use the ship but rather the limited customizability of the ship as ships like mogami is also favoured by pros due to the fact that it have 4x torps and can be equipped with the nuke torp

Liren has strong air defense. But now, most of aircraft can attack from outside the range of air defense.
