The Palm is a tough course! Looks like you were doing the same thing as me. Taking the driver too far inside instead of straight back. Also looks like you end on your heel so you’re not transitioning weight completely to front foot. Just my observation, only because that’s what I used to do. I like LBV better these days 😄

Late to this, but interestingly enough I’ve been working on something similar. Got some good swing stuff working recently. Trying to catch up to post some new content. Thanks for stopping by

Any tips for someone just getting into golf?

Golf is hard. Be patient. If I recommended one book, it’d be Lowest Score Wins. I think it does the best job of talking about what to practice first as well as golf strategy if you want to improve the fastest. Don’t read? Short game and putting will get you the fastest short term gains, but it’s limiting. Spend most of your practice on full shots. Forget aesthetics. Practicing positions is overrated. Don’t fall in love with how a golf swing looks. You’ve seen my swing in these videos… Ive been as good as a +2 (2 better than scratch handicap). Aesthetics have killed many great golfers. An entry level launch monitor would be golden to measure progress and get immediate feedback on ball striking. But most importantly… use PAR Golf to track your golf. It’ll give recommendations and make it obvious what to work on to improve the fastest. Enjoy the journey. It’s an addiction.

Best tip is to buy a lesson or two and than just go from there, the foundation is important. You dont want to create habits that are hard to break so a lesson before you form a shot could be perfect

It is super expensive so if you dont want lessons youtube has a ton of golf lessons and videos. Watch grant from good good golf, rick sheils, some other scratch/pro golfers.
