@@poweredbyowc In Dec one of my ThunderBays was giving error "Disk for Softraid disappeared", then "SoftRaid Volume Out-of-Sync", I sent up several diagnostic files to tech service, the #2 tech guru said it's your ThunderBay. Ok, I buy a new one, a 72TB one and was able to dump everything from the problematic one to a second one I have while I wait for new #3. I sent the problem one in and after a long time they came back with what is the problem with it? I send the case # and the email thread with tech service to them. A week or so later tech service said your ThunderBay is fine we can't find a problem. Ok, I guess I have 3 ThunderBay 4s now. I get the one back and the same problem arises. I then delete SoftRaid from everything and I have not had a problem since. No more RAID 5. I just run everything Raid 0 formatted with Apple Raid. I have over 17K worth of OWC gear here, Softraid is a pain in the butt. I have not looked back since. I've been an OWC fan since 2010 but this whole ordeal and dealing with Tech Service has really soured me. It's good gear without Softraid. And the advise "don't update Apple OSx" & everything will be just fine just doesn't cut it in our present security environment these days. Tech Service is like all the others now, lackluster and incredibly incompetent. I don't need to know when a drive will fail, I have a RAID 0 backup x2. You will regret putting softriad on.

Does this version also require you uninstall Nord VPN? (Something that is never mentioned until after it is installed) Have you figured it out yet?
We apologize, this version of the softRAID also is not able to be used with the anti-virus software. We are diligently working to resolve this issue with the program.
Does this version allow raid 6?

Regrettably at this time SoftRAID does not support RAID 6.
Is it actually compatible with Apple Silicon now??
Yes, SoftRAID is compatible with the Apple Silicon machines as well.
