- Looking back over the years at all those Tossy Tossy piles, I quickly realized we’ve decluttered 100,000 things from this house!! It feels like I am a completely different person then when I started as a level 4 hoarder!! There were certain decluttering styles that worked best for me and I shared what helped me the most!

We are amazingly SO PROUD of everything you have done Ms Heart. You have worked hard, dug deep into your emotions and now like you said you are a completely different person. You have always been smart, but now you are confident and full of spiritually life affirming joy. You invest in helping people rather than hoarding, which is so beautiful to see. You bring so much love and ‘shine’ ✨ so bright Ms Heart!💛
It's touching that you started because of your children. Even if it was so hard for you, you chose to show them that their opinion of the situation matters, more then any materialistic possession you have. Also, even if you decluttered just 1 thing it is one less thing to worry about. Baby steps. Nothing can come from not doing a thing. You came a long way and I'm glad. I can't even imagine how you feel after letting those things go, but I hope you are proud of every little thing along the way. It's not easy to chance but you did❤️. Well done, you did great😊.
Thank you so so much my friend 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 Your encouraging messages means everything to me 🩷🩷
You inspired me to buy a little handheld tally counter a month ago. I press a button every time I get rid of something. I'm up to over 400 items and hope with baby steps to get in the thousands like you someday ❤
Ms Pepper is so sweet, I remember when she came into your home. I believe she also helped you with getting rid of things. Great job ❤
Oh I just LOVEEEEE that!!!! What a great idea and LOOK at you goooo!! I am cheering you on every step of the wayyyyy 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
I know I say it every year but has it been 6 years? Really? I remember the glasses and you hiding behind your phone and I was in awe that you could hold your phone that long without your arm falling off. The struggle you had with each item but the joy of anything you let go was amazing. You’ve helped me so much too. The way you explain the emotions, the attachments and the memories of an item is so encouraging. I’m glad to have been on this journey so far with you and will continue to watch you release more. Thanks for always being you. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏💪👍🙏💐🐈🦄
I’m so impressed with how much you have achieved and very thankful that you are such a great educator about what hoarding disorder is like, how to recover , one small declutter at a time, and also that decluttering and recovery is possible 🎉❤
Your journey of little baby steps has taken you so far. You are so right in saying you are not the old you. But as a subscriber I can tell you that person and you are both very determined, very caring, and both have a wonderful desire to help others. ❤❤❤❤
You doing a great job of bringing awareness to hoarding in a graceful and insightful way.
Aweeee, thank you so much my friend! 🙏🏼🦄💜🌟 I just speak from my heart and hope for the best!!! lol
Watching you break through the struggles encourages me to get back to decluttering. I still have my office to deal with. I've been living here for 5 years, and it is one big mess. You have every right to pat yourself on the back.
Wow!!! I am blown away by your progress!
I used to be a costume maker. It burned me out of sewing so bad that I don’t ever want to sew again! If one of my grandkids needs a costume, their parents can buy them one. I don’t need to kill myself making one that won’t be as cute as an Amazon one. I have spent the last 5 years getting rid of more and more fabric and supplies. One day I will only have a little basket of mending supplies!
You have inspired to get rid of all of my nail polish, except for the 3 or 4 that I use! I am also going to throw away all of my essential oils because they are old and I never use them! That will be a combined 50-60 items. Woohooo!
For the past five years I’ve been enjoying how you approach declutterring your home and wanted to finally thank you ❤️ it’s a joy to declutter along with you. Praise the Lord! May He bless your healing journey even further and give you and us daily more freedom from the grip that all kinds of possessions can have on us! Greetings from Germany
Aweeee, thank you so sons much my dearest friend!!! It means the world to me that you’ve been with me during this journey ❤️🇩🇪🙏🏼
I’ve been here from the beginning and yes you are a strong, changed women! I continue to cheer you on!💕
Thank you so much!!! I’m so grateful you’ve been my friend throughout this journey!!! You are such a good friend 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
Amazing! It's hard for everyone to let go off things, and you did it as a former hoarder. The consistency and strength is so inspiring!
Thank you so so much for your sweet encouraging message 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 It keeps me motivated to keep going!!!
When my children were older one of them told me they were embarrassed at Christmas for Santa to see our messy kitchen and secretly hoped he'd use his magic to tidy it 😢. I always had the sitting room tidy for Santa but the kitchen was usually a mess. They still love me but I do
feel so bad about that. What youve done is given your children a precious gift ❤
Ohhhhhh, my heartstrings I totally felt the emotions in your story!!! Thank you for sharing with us!! They will always love you and you will always love them 🩵 It’s the growth and journey we take together ❤️🙏🏼❤️
I love how adaptable we are, more than we think we are capable of. I lived in a larger apartment with a walk in storage closet, had a whole shelving unit for vases and other home decor, when we moved to a smaller place I just simply didn't have the space to keep that much stuff so I had to let go of most of it, and to be honest it's freeing to have less stuff to manage. If I had a huge basement like yours I would very likely have 100 bins of Christmas decor but I only have room for 4 under my son's bed, I can still make a magical Christmas with that and without overwhelming myself. Less really IS more!
The original decluttering of your laundry room has edged itself into my mind as one of the important inspirations for my own journey. I am soon a minimalist, and you as well as your journey is like a spark of joy on my way.
Please give little Miss Pepper some pets from me. Every time I see her my heart lights up. :) What a sweet and support little kitty she is :) Thank you for your videos- they get me working on my home too :)
She is a delight and sweet little helper ❤
It's only 6 years but isn't it amazing what a difference a determination to change can make. Those small steps have built to a staircase!
I love crocheting blankets and I donated 6 unfinished afghans that were about 90% finished. Most of them only needed the border or ends weaved in. I’ve had them for years and couldn’t get rid of them because they were almost done… but finally donated them. I told myself that someone else would certainly get the satisfaction out of finishing them. I told myself that by donating them, I wouldn’t ever have to feel bad about starting new projects anymore and I’m creating space for new projects in my life. Now I’ve got 6 empty totes ready for more unfinished afghans 😆
That is an amazing feeling, isn’t it? Good for you!
Congratulations on your growth! I remember the sunglasses and phone days and how far you have come.
Yesssss, you have been such a good friend to me and I’m so grateful you’ve been with me over the years 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
It‘s Crazy how you‘ve come!!
You are so strong and brave for sharing all of that and changing your life and you‘re family’s
You can be SOOO proud of you👸👸❤

100.000 things! I can´t get over it; you are such a champion! 🏅 And you and your home looks 100.000 times better now 💜
Such a thoughtful reinforcement of everyone’s journey. Very well said. We all appreciate you and your message. Very helpful video❤️
I'm 43 yrs old. $73,000 biweekly and I'm retired, this video has inspired me greatly in many ways that i remember my past of how i struggled with many things in life to be where I am today!!!!!
I'm feeling truly inspired.
Can you provide additional insights about the bi-weekly subject you mentioned?
It is simply the digital market . A lot of folks in the US 🇺🇸 and also abroad are getting so much from it
I raised 350k and Victoria Ruth Ross is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend..the digital market has been the secret to my success..god bless America..
Wow 😱Wow 😱 i know her too
Miss Victoria Ruth Ross is a remarkable individual whom has brought immense positivity and inspiration into my life.
I met her for the first time last year at a conference in Wilshire .after then my life changed for Good...Can't imagine earning earning $65,000 biweekly, God bless Ms Victoria Ruth Ross , God bless America 🇺🇸❤️
Well said, Ms. Heart! I'm sooooo proud of the accomplishments you have made over the last five years! Although I was/am not a hoarder I love your channel! Thanks for all the lessons.
Aweee, thank you so so much for being my friend during this journey!!! I’m so grateful for you 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
Oh my gosh! You used my comment! That sent me straight to tears of joy! You've made a true impact on my life, and I'll forever be grateful for all I've learned (so far! ) from you.
I'm trying to think back to all the things I've decluttered, but I think I'll stick with just the 5 years we've been in this house, and what I've learned.
5000 items? Perhaps more? I never really counted. There have been clothes, shoes, kids' toys (especially as they've become adults), fabrics, beads... oh man, does each individual bead count? LOL! If so then we might be over 20k instead! Papers too! I finally decluttered my papers about a year ago, and there were things I no longer needed from 1996 in there. I had electric bills from an apartment I'd lived in before I met my husband! I wasn't exactly hoarding them, but I just never really went through them? I've decluttered books I knew I'd never read again. Even old bleary photos of people I didn't know. So, yeah, even though we've never had TOO many items (former military and having to meet restrictions for what the military would move for us), we have FAR less now. So.. over the decades of my marriage? If the average home has 300k, perhaps I have shifted out 100k myself. But over decades. I mean I can look at the cultivated decorations and books just on our entertainment center and count easily 100 items that I can see RIGHT NOW. On just one piece of furniture.
I'd still like to have less. LOL! Come April and the annual Spring Deep Clean, and I will! ^_^
Thank you, Miss Heart for all you do!
You are an absolute rockstar, my friend!! It makes me so happy to hear your decluttering journey is going so well!! It’s totally over 20,000 items bc every piece of paper counts!! We had to make a decision to let that go!! I’m sending you all the good vibes to keep going and I will always cheer you on 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼

What an amazing and candid journey! Thank you for being so brave and showing others this can be done. 💪💕🌟
I am so proud of you. I am in an ongoing decluttering process myself. I keep a donate/declutter box in my hall closet and I promise myself that each day I will put one (at least) item in it.
You have done such a journey- very well done ❤️👍❤️.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Miss pepper😍
Take care❤
I follow you since you have like 1k subscribers. Its soo nice to see your progress!
I was never a hoarder but i am still decluttering every week and i am already a minimalist
Hello from Germany and hi miss heart ❤❤❤❤❤. 🎉🎉🎉🎉You came so far..... One step a time.... So proud of you.
I decluttered from a three bedroom house and moved into a motor home, I boxed up all my children’s things and gave them to them , I scanned all my paperwork and put on my ancestry account including photos and sent original to my cousin
I love your energy and dedication
Seeing you grow and your house becoming more comfortable and beautiful. The sunglasses day I remember
I am on this channel since before you revealed your face, have watched occasionally since the very first video. It’s amazing how your mindset towards stuff changed and how much work you did on reflection.
I guess I decluttered about 10 000 items during my minimalism journey (not counting kid’s clothes that simply went to a little cousin as soon as they were to small). As the average German household has just about 30 000 items (most recited number) it’s still a lot. I sold about 1800 pieces of media (books, DVDs, CDs) and donated and gifted a lot more. I decluttered a few hobbies (I am a hobby hoarder, trying new things all the time but I have a problem finishing projects…).
I still do occasional use it up challenges when I notice things are piling up again (crafts, board games and books especially). I think minimalism saved my sanity as with little kids I also suspect that I have AuDHD - my son already has a diagnosis. I coped before but I am just not able to do it anymore. Tbh, I think it’s amazing how much you still did for your family, how much art for you and your friends in this chaos that was.
Thank you so much for being with me since the beginning, that means the world to me 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼 You are a good friend!! And thank you sharing your story with us!! You are doing an amazing job and inspire me to be more minimalistic!! And how the average Germany family only has 30,000 items in their homes! How fascinating and eye opening!!! I wonder what that number looks like in different countries! I can understand why American consumerism is such a problem if we’re at 300,000!! It’s hard to see the big picture when you’re in the frame! 🖼️
Pretty in Pink! ❤ TK for being here in February, the winters are way too long here, I am auto pilot with decluttering. Thursdays are the official sift through the house day, since next day is trash pickup/ donation day. Too cold to do the shed for awhile, below zero wind chills.
That’s the perfect day to go through the house, the day before trash day!! And yes, this winter has been a cold one for us too 🥶❄️
I'm going to start counting my decluttering too and rate the emotional side excellent idea thanks so much for sharing these ideas your a fantastic lady💜🙈🦄
I have 121 things left to declutter from January challenge. But I will get there soon because I am going through the basement now. I am going to complete the challenge, even though it goes into February. Everything so far has completely left the property.
Yessssss!!! Oh you are doing AMAZING my friend and I am cheering you on every step of the wayyyyyy 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
Your channel is so much needed!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Awe, thank you so much my friend!! It’s my soul’s purpose to humanize hoarding disorder so thank you for your sweet message 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
I am trying to get the motivation to get started on my bedroom. Over the years I have let it get to the point where I get anxiety when I go into my room, with how bad it is. I want to enjoy being in my room again, and cleaning it up is my main goal this year.
Thank you for todays video. You're doing an amazing job decluttering, and I always find a few things to get rid of every time I watch one of your videos. I've already gone through some things in my craft room & decluttered a tote full of stuff. I still have a long way to go, but as the saying goes "Progress, not perfection."
You're doing AMAZING! 🙌🏼💜🦄🌟🙏🏼 I am cheering you on every step of the wayyyyyy!!!
You're doing amazing!! Pepper aand I are purroud of mew! 🐱💖🐱💖
Wow you have come a really long way. So proud of you and even more proud of the fact that in your learning about this disorder, you are helping others to be free of stuff, real and emotional ❤
I have a box in the front room to put items in to donate. Once it is full, it goes to the garage for the next donation trip. I have a rule about the box, once in the garage I cannot open it. This has helped me get rid of stuff I don't need.
Aweee, that’s a great system!! Thank you so much for sharing that with us 🙏🏼🦄💜🌟
I have watched since the beginning and I’ve been doing the same using your model. I think you’ve put out more than 100,000. 2020, I counted garbage bags that left my house and there were over 150 and I did at least that much in 2019 and 2021 so I’d say 100,000 was an underestimate.. I’m still struggling to not hoard toys and books I use for work. There’s a pile in my diningroom now but it’ll be dealt with this evening
I put out a full trash bag yesterday of things from my mini laundry room and under my kitchen sink. I had a lot of part containers of cleaners, odd socks, random bags
Hello Miss Heart, I just watched the videos of the first time you organized the laundry room and wow you have made a lot of progress, the size of the mess is much smaller and the time it took you to clean it was much less than the first time, it is an inspiration because the same thing happens to me, the spaces are filled with things again but it is becoming less and easier to organize. Greetings from Mexico
I've been watching you for years. You've explained hoarding so well. I've always been the "artsy" one in my family: I love crafts and color. I just hate clutter.
Tina, Al's wife
I'm so proud of you keep up the great work
So glad you did this video!!! Reflection is so important. I watch each episode- thanj you.
Aweeee, thank you so so much for watching my videos!!! That means the world to me!!! Thank you for being such a good friend 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
Thank you for your videos. They are so inspiring and motivating. They keep me going. 🎉❤
You are awesome!
Thanks for always being you.
I have been following you since you started in the playroom, where you hardly could throw away a small piece of paper! My God! You have really come far. Your voice has transformer. Your voice was not as loud as know. As you were sky. You Can be proud of yourself! You have done so Great. I look forward to se you declutter your craftstuff. I know how hard that is ❤❤❤
I started watching you back when you wore your sunglasses and hid behind the phone. Did any of your friends know that was you behind the glasses?
I decluttered my clothes and I’m down to 105 items, including shoes, coats, underwear and socks.
Congratulations!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank youuuuu 🦄💜🌟🙏🏼🦄💜🌟🙏🏼
I had too many paperclips. I ended up throwing a few cheap ones away and sneaked some into my workplace
I admire you! You did great! I hope you will not have to do it again. The time spent on sorting and decluttering items could be instead spent doing your favorite activities. This way we see that stuff robs us of the time going to the pool, walks in nature, family time.
Well your doing so well are you doing the attic this year
You know what, you’ve read my mind! We’re starting the attic in the very beginning of March 😉
Cheers and Love… Keep working to be self aware… You’re doing great and inspiring others - Like Me. Peace.
❤
Your videos make me so happy. My boyfriend sees me light up each time a new one is uploaded.
Are u currently on a decluttering break? i noticed you didnt did that much lately. Please update us :)
❤❤❤
I would love to get rid of 90% of my stuff but it's so difficult cause it was my grandma's stuff who I was very close with
I don’t know the number but I also decluttered my parents house after my father died and we painted it ready for sale
❤❤❤😊
I even wonder if you started with over a million items if you consider every single item, such as crafting beads.
I've probably let go at least 100,000 probably 200,000 still got alot to go going to do this Saturday already got 3 boxes ready to go going to try to make it at least 8
I forgot to ask, are you done in the basement?
You are not a level 1 😂
We just recently needed to uncover the back door again. Please don't lie to yourself, it's not helpful to healing.
The volume of things in your house far exceeds normal even now.
Better means better. And it's an immense accomplisment. And it's admirable to the extreme. Don't diminish it by misrepresenting it.
❤❤❤
