Angelica Hale Interview

- Angelica Hale is certainly making a name for herself in the entertainment industry. The 11-year-old singer was the runner-up on season 12 of “America’s Got Talent” and has since performed all over the world, and appeared on the “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and “Little Big Shots”.
At age four, Hale was on life support after a battle with double pneumonia. Her body went septic and multiple organs failed, including her kidney, which did not recover. Hale’s mother donated a kidney to her and she had a successful kidney transplant.
Hale now uses her voice to support organizations that help kids going through similar situations. She is an ambassador for the National Kidney Foundation, Sepsis Alliance and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Angelica Hale was recently in Houston for The Living Bank gala, which was the country’s first organ donor registry.
Kelly Perdue of The Living Bank also joined us to discuss the importance of living organ donation and how The Living Bank serves the community.
