Black Rose was like 1 of my favorite albums of hers next to Allman & Woman!

Cher has come so far! I'd love to see her watch these older interviews today.

Cher definitely took the high road on those questions she's a class act I thought Tom was until this interview

I wouldn't say "Black Rose" was a great album but a few tracks were really good! I'd personally loved "Young & young pretty". The band was excellent! Guitars, piano..... I think the vocal however good could have been a bit better. "Never should have started" would be a great song fr "Green day" to record. They do songs like that new wave sound. The look CHER had during this also briif era with "Black Rose" was very Joan Jett ish I would say, Pat Benatar and/or Chrissy Hyde. All of which were scoring big rock & roll hits. People did not accept CHER the rock singer. A decade later she had better luck with a song I always thought reminded me of her vocal performance on "Young & pretty", "We all sleep alone" was a modestly success single peaking @ number 7 on the bill board charts. That collection of songs had various producers with Bon Jovi writing a couple. Bigger hits followed on the next CD "Heart of stone" and of course "Believe" which is CHER's biggest selling CD ever.

I love her blatant honesty and straightforwardness to this cutting questions. Cher wasn’t given any slack here.

Yeh, these old school interviews don’t really cut the mustard today w/ their interrogative approach, but that was the accepted style back then. She did handle the questions wonderfully and honestly. It’s part of what’s made me a die-hard Cher fan. Whether it was rock, disco, pop, ballad- whatever, just give me Cher.

I love Cher. I think that she was so beautiful here. I love her natural beauty and I think that she has gotten to much plastic surgery over the years. Even without plastic surgery she would still be pretty today, as she would have been a natural beauty. I still love her personality, her music and I respect her legacy. :)

At 45 she had a nose job, her teeth done and her breast reduced after her children, obviously now she has had so much more as she is 73 but I would say she still looks very much the same, as she uses to kind of preserve her looks, not to alter them

8:53: “I don’t find you very attractive, but I know you need a place to stay. If you keep the house clean, you can sleep with me.” Good lookin talented Sonny Bono, to Cher. Just THINK ABOUT THAT.

Gawd! I love her nose, her teeth and her perfect lips from this era. She's super attractive to me. But then... It's her body and she has all the rights to change as she pleases. I think she's gorgeous now for being 70 years old, even though it's not a natural look. But most importantly, this is a woman to admire for her achievements. I mean, she won an Oscar for Moonstruck. And don't you forget it! :D Love ya Cher.
