Nice demo and easy to understand... thank you! I bought this unit 6 months ago. Never got around to really using it. Looks easy and fun to play with. I run karaoke and I'm looking forward to using this on my next show. I'll be running this through my effects loop... oh I'm definitely getting an expression pedal!
Almost.. I say ALMOST bought one of these for live work, then it dawned on me the outputs weren't XLR's! I could overlook the fact that the reverb can't be footswitch controlled (being able to toggle off for speaking, and back on for singing),, but for live work, XLR's are a must!.. So I looked at the V6... which wouldn't work for me. A stand mounted unit would definitely work, BUT, for me,, I think a V3 with a twin or triple foot switch that would switch the reverb, and XLR outputs would be ideal .. Shame coz I have had a number of Zoom products.. all Great!
how can i hook this up to my mixer and still capture the effects from the zoom into my computer ? My computer has an interface which captures the signal of my mic into my DAW. How can I incorporate the zoom into my tools to have it record ? I noticed your using phone jack in ? is that headphone jack to two RCA plugs into a mixer ? please help before I purchase thanks
I would like to see for one occasion a product presentation shown in real time in a performance with the different presets or programs that the processor itself uses. Showing with different camera angles the changes that the interpreter makes as I already mentioned: in real time. It would be very useful and save time.
V3 Sounds awesome! Question is, why are you jumping around on the effects instead of goin line by line or row by row? Also, can you turn up the mic some? I've the volume cranked on my pc headphones
No to 2 fx at same time. You can use the compression, delay, and reverb simultaneously over any effect you're using. But not 2x fx. Yes 9v dc 600 should do the job.
No, this isn't made for phones, it's a dedicated device to be used w/ mixing boards through Pa's live or for Amps or through an audio interface through DAW
So the USB interface has a max of 44.1KHz, but I use 48KHz in my system and plan to use this between the microphone and a mixer, so not using the USB functionality of the V3. Does the USB device's 44.1KHz limit affect sound effects when not using the USB functionality? (I hope my question makes sense)
Is there ANY way to set the pitch correction for the vocoder and talk box effect to CHROMATIC. It’s ridiculous that I seem to have to choose a single key to play in when using these effects. Most songs I play are in more than one key
Only downside is that they didn't add the memory of settings function (as on the digital EFFECT ADJUST nob) to the COMP, DELAY, and REVERB and instead they are manual switches... so when you change effects like from OCTAVE TO ROBOT, you get the same COMP, DELAY, and REVERB, and if you don't want the same COMP, DELAY, nor REVERB you have to manually readjust the these manual nobs every time. This is difficult if you plan to use the different effects, and switch effects frequently because you have to test them out every time to make sure you got back to the COMP, DELAY and REVERB settings you liked originally. This kind of make is cumbersome to remember as well, just using in my studio. Just consider, if you play live, you may have to remember the settings of these knobs and somehow quickly change them, the COMP, DELAY, and REVERB, every time you change to a different effect. - Also you can only pick one EFFECT at a time. Just so you know you can't combine effects either. I returned this even though I love the sounds, just due to my wife who is a professional signer, my kids who all sing too, and I find it difficult to have to mess with the manual knobs every time we change effects. Would buy again once they add the digital memory to the the COMP, DELAY, and REVERB nobs (kind of cheap that they didn't) and also if they add stack-a-ability of effects.
I was under the impression that this could be used for recording with iOS but it does not appear to work. I am using the Smule karaoke app to record. Can you direct me to any videos or other instruction ? Thank you
I have a Focusrite audio interface but I want a physical vocal processor but do I have to replace my current interface or can I run this through my interface without losing the quality???
On the Harmony setting, is the original voice coming through as well? Or only the 2 harmony effects? If only the two harmonies, is there a way to set/choose things to where the original voice is there as well? In general (with any effect) are there settings to go completely "wet" or with a combo of the original voice and the effects?
I think I might be able to answer this. I saw this unit being demo'd on another video, I clearly saw him selecting the harmonies by touching the lights. Now I do know you can't have more than two harmony voices being created at one time. But that doesn't include your real voice. So if only the High and Higher lights are lit, and you sing into it, you will hear your voice... a high harmony, and a higher harmony for a total of three voices being heard. Now if you touch the Fixed and High harmony lights, you will hear your real voice (fixed) and one harmony voice. Now what I'm trying to find out is, Is the effect mix set at a fixed level, or can I blend the effect with the dry mic signal using the Effect Adjust knob so that all three voices are the same level
i was wondering if ever i do get a mixer and plug in 2 to 4 mics... then plug a headphone wire to xlr to connect to line in Zoom V3 not aux in. will it also give effect to other vocals mics?
Hello, I would like to ask a question!! I have a zoom v3 and when used as an audio interface it does not recognize it does not record the audio that enters the aux in, can you tell me if it is a problem with my zoom v3 or are they all like that ??? I've already updated and even then when I use it as an interface it doesn't recognize the audio that goes into the aux in .... it just comes out of the headphones but doesn't record ....
Dude! Thanks for pointing out exactly what I needed! Then there is you, you are cool, kind of guy i would like to invite to our Kentucky Derby party (always
I would love to see the RT series come back. The RT-123 has the footprint of modern Japanese electronic synth boxes. Forget sampling; just drop in 256GB of drum and bass samples at 192k or less. I don't understand why samples are at 320k, then everyone wants to lo-fi them.
No XLR out no go for me. What makes zoom thinking of using TRS instead of XLR out? Additional DI will do, but why on the first place they put it as TRS out
Ok, so my question is... once you've fiddled with all the knobs and got a REALLY GREAT SOUND that just really goes great with your live stream, can you then SAVE those settings so that you can reactivate that voice with all those settings with the press of a button?? When streaming, you need to be able to change up FAST, it's no good to have to go through all those settings every time I wanna change my sound. Now If this DOESN'T have custom settings that can be saved - what does?? 🤔
I have one of these. The settings for each effect stay as you left them if you switch to a different effect or turn it off and back on again. You can't save it to a memory bank as such. But I have half a dozen fx I use off this, with my settings ready to go everytime I hit that effect I choose. I'm sure you've got your answer by now. Gdluck
Hello, is there an issue using ZoomV3 on the Zoom Conference app, it usually turns off after 5 or 10 minutes, reconnect the usb, takes 10 seconds, and it's back on. I only connect it with USB to my laptop. With other PC programs works perfectly, DAWS, OBS, etc... thanks
Is there any vocal processor like this that has complete effects for Keyboard player. I am not guitar or bass o any mono instrument player. I would like have a vocal processor for Keyboard arranger or workstation that has an input stereo left and right and midi. So could you tell me if there is an alterantic=ve. I saw already that TC Helicon VK has one but has only few effects not like this.
You can feed your pre-recorded vocals into it, whether you’re trying to re-record it on a new track or do it live. To run pre-recorded tracks into it _and_ be able to sing live into it, though, you’d need something to split the two signals before coming into the V3 but it is possible
So I'm trying to use this vocal processor for my online video calls (on discord), But i don't have any input from my microphone at all. So i pick up input on the vocal processor itself but not on discord. Does anybody know what could possibly be happening here?
I've been enjoying my zoom v3 for 3 months now, but suddenly I have a issue where if I put it in telephone it pops and then no audio goes through. It doesn't shut off, just seems like a short or something. Any advice?

I love it Cuz. I have to find this and try it out. It's been a long time. I think the last time I saw you you were about 6 years old. Best of luck with the V3 (I will post this on Facebook where my friends in the music industry are) and my love to the family.
The compressor maintains the dynamic differences in your performance? No it doesn't, unless it's turned off or broken. That is the exact opposite of what it does.
Yes obviously! Plug the xlr mic cable into the v3, then a jack-to-xlr cable from the left output into any channel on the podtrack. If you want effects on 2-3 mics you will need 2-3 V3 devices.
the most annoying thing with this is that, u have to pre select the base Key for it to sound right. only for harmony and auto tune though. or u can just put everything to minimal when using karaokeeee

I'll just say-a wonderful processor! For certain needs and with proper use, this processor can become indispensable!
The Harmony and Reverb sound lovely. Nice demonstration.
All I wanted to hear was the talk box and telephone, and that's the only 2 you didn't do wtf
The Telephone is the best! Distortion next. At least for me.
😂😂😂
Wait he doesnt do telephone in this!? Thats what i came here for! Glad i saw this comment before i watched the whole video, damn!

@@ConditionZero76 I was able to connect my iPhone into the "Aux In" of the Zoom V3 and it worked out great. Exactly what I was looking for, thank you.

One effect would be able to be used at a time on the V3.
Che peccato! Mi sarebbe piaciuto mixare più effetti,o almeno 2...
no.
