Hi, I think it's because your clips are not trimmed, trim the end of first clip and start of the second clip. Or press alt + t to apply default transition and let davinci auto trim your clips.
This must dont work on the free version nor on ipad, I don't have a laptop, and yes I e been sitting here trying and all my transitions is either gonna go on 1 clip or the other other I have to make separate timeliness to do these tricks here
@oneminutepremiere i have no idea what you are doing good sir even when I was able to now get a mouse attached I dont even get the options you get when I right click, I went to the transitions page I still have no idea what's going on, I cut it split no matter what I do I can only load 1 transition at a time I don't get the compound option like I said maybe it's a page version thing I'm on a 12.9 ipad pad, I really appreciate your response thank you

Select the transition and in the inspector make it center at cut
