it’ll be cool i guess but controller is so far inferior to mnk for a game like valorant, i dont think it’ll be popular long term on console, siege, apex, and fortnite all lend themselves so much better to a controller playstyle that’s really the reason they’re so popular on consoles
GenG won most pistol rounds and many bonus rounds, too. Starting every map with a huge round and economy and ult advantage of course theyll look like the much better team. Heretics had terrible starts on every map. Even Lotus where they went up 3-0 got eco'd right after and boomed. And STILL FOUGHT BACK GO TO UP 2-1 IN MAPS with TWO CHANCES to win a map and win the tournament. Not saying that GenG didnt deserve the win but that's definitely not the start a young team like Heretics needs especially with a sub.

I think whaty they will do for Iso for him to actually be good is make his wall like Harbor where u can just stopwhenever you want so like on defense it can actually be useful be putting it on the entry point and seperate a jett/raze from his teammates and u could scale very well with him
I feel like if anything, this win for Gen.G feels like a win for the entire Pacific region as a whole, not just Korea, because now that mental block of having no trophies is gone, and it can only get better from here on.
gen g played 54 maps up until shanghai finished, meanwhile heretics played 40 maps until shanghai finished, so still geng played more than any team up until shanghai
I feel like logically they should buff Iso's wall, but I bet with Iso being some much better at multikills, they won't have room to. At least now he technically has 3 really good ability if you include the ult, and you just don't use the Wall unless you have the free economy, kinda like Brimstone and his stim. PRX will try him at least once guaranteed.
I don't wanna take anything away from GenG but being in the upper bracket makes a huge difference, Heretics got way better throughout the tournament and I wish we saw these two great teams play on an even ground instead of having either one play without their 2 best maps. I'm sure TH would have looked just as dominant on Sunset and Bind as GenG did on their map picks. I'm still really happy that pacific won but I kinda hate the format...
gen.g went through upper bracket because they are a better team and played better games, that’s just the nature of tournaments. th went through lowers because they made mistakes and didn’t play at the level they did later in the tournament. you get rewarded for playing better

Of course GenG deserves to win they played better the whole tournament, again it just feels bad that we didn't get to see the 2 best teams at the tournament play on even ground.
@@jenostheascended7818 eh, i mean i get your point but also isn’t that heretics fault for not being able to play every map well? it’s kind of the same effect as 100t, i don’t think a winner can be truly crowned as the “best” team when they rely on certain maps to win every single game. 100t without bind is not nearly as formidable with it. 2 map bans wouldn’t be as big of a deal if heretics could play every map, but since they can’t and rely heavily on certain maps like sunset, the 2 map bans becomes a huge difference. usually with one ban a team has to choose banning for opponents or banning for themselves. geng banned for opponents every match of the tournament because they play every map well, so getting 2 bans for opponents against a team with a limited pool makes it a bigger deal. i like the format because it incentivizes teams like geng and discourages teams like 100t. i mean, would you rather watch a team play every map or would you rather watch a team play the same map the same way over and over again
