This is one of those products that is all about how you market it, i see so many different use cases with it. Besides only blowing camera dust etc. Out climbing to clean rock, computer/desk etc. Its a hard one to market for sure.

Held off for like a year and a half till my supply of cheap Microcenter air cans (don’t use on cameras) ran out. Neat to see they released more models at different price points. Anything I blasted that duster at this can theoretically replace but it can also go low for sensitive camera gear so sounds like a deal.
I can easily see people being amazed by mini leaf blower. I’ve had people more interested in the buckle on my bag than the cars worth of camera gear in my hands lol.

Nitecore just released the BB21; was an impulse buy and got it; will still keep my Giottos Rocket Air Blower

It's better they produced a portable device with suction attached to a soft lining which camera technicians actually use. Instead of blowing debris from surrounding area into the camera

Best review on the BB2. Not sure why no one else addresses the elephant in the room: the price. It’s expensive. But to your point, it can just be really convenient when you just need to carry one item to clean.
Have you tried it on your sensor and what setting did you use?

Thank you taking the time to make the video. I would have appreciated more if it was only 5 mins…

The issue is that the most pressing use would be for the sensor. So is it really not recommended for that? Would it blow more dust into a sensor? How abrasive is the brush?

    • @WesPerry
      @WesPerry  9 месяцев назад

You’re not supposed to use the brush on the sensor, though it wouldn’t be abrasive enough to scratch the glass cover, there’s always the risk of a piece of dirt getting trapped in it that could. Which is why sensor wipes always come in sealed packages and aren’t to be reused

can it be used as a portable fan for hair for photoshoots?

      Will check
But I’ll have to find some assistance to do so 😂

I think they should have stuck with that original model version. Those exploding ones would have been a big hit here in America! 🧨 Especially for presents!😂🧨 ALSO, THAT MINI IS HUGE! KEEP AN EYE ON THAT THING, IT'S DESIGNED TO LOOK LIKE IT'S READY TO BLOW! BLOW UP THAT IS! 🤣🎉❤ It could go off at any minute! 🍬

Mini should be activated by pulling a pin 😏

is that a plastic hard brush at the top? O.O probably shouldnt use that on the sensor? might scratch or do some serious damage to the sensor eh?

    • @WesPerry

Oh goodness no that’s not for the sensor. Just lenses and electronics 😂

I don’t know if I’d want to blow that much airflow onto my sensor..😎

"Do not use without filter" as you immediately press the trigger (before you technically finished the sentence telling you NOT to do what you are doing. I want your tests of all the gear I care about. Most impressive? You were so stealthy about the move, doing it, but not commenting on what you were obviously doing. Yep. You are my tester. Now, can we get a Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut out to this guy?

Could you be more specific? Like the VSCO model?
There was supposed to be one on its way but doesn’t seem to have arrived. I should check in on that…
