Thx for good video, I have same symptoms in my Blazer, have top intake plenum off and discovered leaking shrader valve. Hopefully fixing that and replacing fuel filter will solve my Blazer that not only runs very rough at idle but died at busy intersection. Thanks to a awesome guy who jumped to help push out of street. Fingers crossed my press. regulator and poppets are working.
lol good video bro, and thanks for the help.. ive been fixing leaking cfi's since the early 2ks,..... the wiring on top of the injector is not a data line.. its archaic technology similar to a tbi.. since 1987.. or earlier on corvette. its a simple power feed with a pulsed negative from a ecu that is barely more complex than a digital watch love how gm uses the same ol stuff for decades nice work
im wondering since they were updated in 1996 if i can find an interchangeable make and year to pull one out of and rebuild if need be. i just had a s10 give to me and the problem is only the spider injector. what they did was pull and rebuild a blazer vortec 6 and dropped it in a 95 s10 so now i have to find parts for the 95 vortec when problems arise insted of the original engine that came stock. if it were me and if i were pilling the engine i believe i would have dropped a small block in the bay and been ha happy camper lol. great video quality and audio, thanks brother
Great Job and great attitude in helping the public so that they too can see...Thanks! My 2003 S10 4.3 seems to have a slight vibration at idle and it is driving me crazy. Do you have any word there perhaps?
Thanks for watching! I'm glad this video can be out there to help others.. I do know that the Idle Air Control Valve can get dirty and cause rough idle, it's very accessible so I'd give that a look! Mine was recently completely covered in build-up and was causing the engine to die at idle!
I got a 99 gmc jimmy and I’m having the same problem but I don’t have that big block in front of the spark plugs. But it’s leaking around close to the spark plugs
I have an 02 trailblazer it smells like it’s running rich and I have an intermittent issue with cylinder 6, low rpms especially taking off uphill it acts like it wants to die at takeoff. I changed plugs and it helped for about a day now it’s worse than before but I suspected injector, thank you for video
Mine has been leaking fuel from the exhaust so I’m going in there and see what’s going on it runs and drives but I don’t want to risk it caching it on fire
I just paid my mechanic $950 to replace this spider injector. They charged $500 for the part. Wish I had seen this video before hand. It was for a 94' s10 blazer
@@ElliotWhitehead I see, that’s gonna be a problem since rubber doesn’t age well. Thanks for your reply anyway. ) BTW, since you already had your spider disassembled - did you, by any chance, check if the MPFI “legs” are compatible? I know they are for the next gen spider, but can’t find info on the older one.
Hi. I have chevrolet blazer 95 v6 and My spider injection is having THE same problem. I need to find those little orins. But here in el Salvador. They dont have It. So I need to see were I can buy It.
I’ve been working on my 94 blazer and it’s been rough. I’ll check this now. Thanks
Good luck! 🤞

Thank you so much!!!! You helped me so much!
I have this issue @ idle where it stalls or wants to - but it's an intermittent thing - 96 blazer - every 2nd or 3rd firing up

Man awesome video. You proydont own the vehicle anymore but I have a question. Are those 4 screws supposed to be tightened all the way? Thanks
Any 2nd video? Of it working properly??
I was able to find a working gasket by disassembling a used injector. I'll update the description. Thanks for watching!
This tipe of blazer work also crankshaft sensor,,?, Or with other kind of sensor,,?
Mine has been leaking fuel from the exhaust so I’m going in there and see what’s going on it runs and drives but I don’t want to risk it caching it on fire

it is possible to install 6 independent viton orings?
this is a great idea!
I just tore mine apart for the same reason. Leaking fuel into the cylinder with key on. Gonna check this on my injectors.
Did u find the gasket im having the same issue where i cant accelerate and it sits at very low rpm enough to where i cant switch gears
Hey Jonathan, sorry for the late response. I was able to find a working gasket by disassembling a used injector. Thanks
what´s the name of the sensor u have over the intake manifold? the bigger one like a cylinder
pls i need the name, i dont know what it is
minute 1:10
If you mean the round thingy right in the center - it’s not a sensor, it’s IMTV - intake manifold tuning valve.
thanks for sharing!!!
Where do you get the gasket?
I’m kinda “late” here with a question, but do you know the part number for those rings?
I can’t find those among rebuild kits, only separate ones…
It's not a part you can find I'm afraid. I sourced one from another injector.

So, where did you get the replacement 6 pack o-ring gasket at?
Hey Will, sorry for the late response. I was able to find a working gasket by disassembling a used injector. Thanks for watching.
Did you find the o ring? ,I have the same motor.
Tidiest, but good find!

Damn you look like Paul walker

He said he did find it!
did you have a problem with gas getting in your oil???
Nope, not in this case
Where did you get a new o-ring at?
I disassembled another injector
@ElliotWhitehead don't auto parts stores usally sell a fuel injector rebuild kit
